Thank you seems so inadequate for all that ANLC and our birthmother have done for us and given to us.
Mike and I decided on adoption after trying for a couple years to get pregnant and it just wasn't happening. We knew that fertility testing/ treatment was not for us and that God just had a better plan for us. Adoption was that plan. From the first call to them we knew that we wanted ANLC to help us fulfill our dream. We signed on with ANLC and 8 months later our daughter was born. I love sharing all the details, but I will just say that Bella Grace was destined to be with us. We believe 100% that God created this little girl specifically for us, and all the circumstances surrounding her birth happened exactly the way they should. Mind you, NOTHING happened the way we had "planned", but I wouldn't have changed one single thing. So to all the prospective Mommies and Daddies I'd like to tell you to just be prepared for ANYTHING (our daughter was born just 3 days after we were matched!!) and hand your whole situation to God. I promise, he will not steer you wrong! Bella is a beautiful, healthy, happy little girl and she is ours! People stop us wherever we go and talk about how beautiful she is and how happy she seems. Many say there is just something "special" about her, and we couldn't agree more.
