Birthmother's Day

History on Birthmother's Day:
Originated in 1990 by a group of birthmothers, Birthmother's Day is celebrated the Saturday before Mother's Day. Most birthmothers will agree that Mother's Day is a very painful holiday and these women wanted to create something that would honor their birthmotherhood. So if you know a birthmother, please celebrate her choice and acknowledge her courage. If you are a birthmother, celebrate your decisions to save a life and give her baby the best life possible.

Without their courageous and unselfish choice of adoption there would be so many sad and empty hearts. Please join us in thanking all of the wonderful woman who had the strength and conviction to create a family for their child.

Testimonials: The following quotations were randomly selected from families journeying through the adoption process. "We’re so glad we took the time to visit your office and share our joy!" - John & Debbie
