Craig and Jodi

Dear Birthmother,

Although our lives may be connecting due to circumstances that have been difficult for both of us, we cannot begin to understand your unselfish path that is leading you in our direction. We hope after briefly “getting to know us”, you allow us to share our unending love and lives with your child.

We are Jodi and Craig. We graduated from the same college, and then got married. We always “knew” we would have little feet and high-pitched voices throughout our home. After learning about our infertility, we came to realize that the road would be a different one. We, along with eager grandparents, ten uncles, eight aunts (yes, Jodi is from a family of thirteen and Craig is from a family of two), and eight cousins (with one on the way), are just waiting for a new baby to love and enrich our lives.

We are involved in many interesting and exciting hobbies that we look forward to sharing with our child. Craig plays hockey, goes hunting, and is on a bowling league. Jodi likes to cook, scrapbook, and decorate. We both enjoy fishing, biking, working out at the gym, playing cards, and attending different theater productions together. We are both deeply involved with our families, their activities, and our numerous family gatherings. We get together for birthdays, weddings, graduations, baptisms, Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving. We look forward to adding new activities such as: playing on the local playgrounds, going to the zoo, and participating in activities provided by the wonderful schools in our area.

Our Catholic community is very dedicated to its youth. It offers parenting classes, swimming classes, youth reading classes, children’s art classes, all types of sports activities, and child-oriented outings. There are many different parks in our area that provide great tot-lots and playgrounds, skating arenas, baseball fields, bike paths, and hiking trails. As committed Catholics, we are involved in our beautiful newly built church.

We have both completed college and have been married since 1997. Craig is an underwriter for a local health insurance company, and Jodi is a licensed teacher working part-time tutoring. We are a fun-loving, exciting, humorous couple that wants so desperately to share our love with a child that we both already love so deeply. Please keep us in mind as you make this life changing decision, and have confidence in knowing that whatever decision you make, will be the right one. You and your baby are a very special blessing.
