Mark and Michelle
Dear Birthmother,
What a wonderful person you are to choose adoption for your beautiful baby. Few people are ever given the privilege to cross paths with someone as selfless as you are. We all have challenges in life, and the one you are faced with now most likely will be one of the most difficult. Rest assured, if you grant us the honor of parenting your child, you will be placing him or her into the arms of two people that will spend the rest of their lives proving their worthiness.
We are Mark and Michelle. When we met, we knew we were destined to be together. I believe God brought us together, as we met the day after I prayed for a “forever” husband. Mark and I have been together for 11 years. We married almost 6 years ago, right before Mark graduated from college. We have always wanted children but regrettably, have been unable to conceive a child of our own. We are so appreciative of women like you who are willing to place their beloved children into loving homes and would welcome your baby with open arms.
About Mark: He is intelligent, caring, compassionate and funny, and can do anything, from fixing a washing machine to setting a broken arm. Mark is an Emergency Room Physician Assistant and takes care of most of the children in the Emergency Room. Mark is an excellent teacher and adores children. He loves to joke around and tells great stories.
About Michelle: She is very patient, determined, kind, happy and talented. She cares deeply for people and animals. Michelle is very selfless and has spent a lot of her time volunteering and helping others. She is both a Registered Nurse and Attorney. She spent many years working in all areas of the hospital including Trauma and Intensive Care. She later went back to school and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management, and then later obtained a Doctorate in Law.
Our hobbies include swimming, snorkeling, boating, traveling, hiking, cooking, camping, skiing, bike riding, golfing, going out to dinner with friends, theater and music. We both grew up playing musical instruments in school, church, 4-H bands and singing. I may try harder, but Mark is much more musically inclined. Mark plays the guitar and has written his own music.
We live in a 3,500 square foot historical waterfront home with 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 9-25 foot ceilings with 5 skylights, a couple of fireplaces, many decks, a beautiful view of the water from enormous windows on every floor, a nice fenced-in yard, and our own boat dock harboring our new cabin cruiser. Your child will have a wonderful home, great schools and a safe neighborhood in which to grow, learn and play.
Our baby will have his/her own room, a gentle yet playful dog, a grandfather, many aunts, uncles and cousins to love. Michelle will always be there to cherish, protect and have fun with our baby. A couple of mornings each week, Mark will tuck our baby into the backpack, and we will all go for a hike. Our child will travel the world and see the 50 states. Most importantly, he/she will have a safe, secure home with two parents who have no higher priority than to love, nurture and provide their child with everything he/she could possibly ever need or want.
We will raise our baby to know the joy of God’s love. We feel very blessed and grateful for all that we have, but we are longing to have a child to share our lives with. We believe that God is in the business of turning sad and painful situations into something beautiful: this is the miracle of adoption. If the life that we have described is what you want for your child, then you may be the special lady who will help to make our dreams come true.
We wish you peace, hope and love………Mark and Michelle
