Mark and Michelle

Dear Birthmother,

Both of us grew up in modest households and have a deep love of nature and country living. We both attended college, have worked hard in life, and have traveled extensively. When old enough, your child will also benefit from the education, excitement and fun we’ve experienced from travel. We live in an historical waterfront home with a beautiful view of the water from every floor, a nice fenced-in yard, and our own boat dock. Your child will have a wonderful home, great schools and a safe neighborhood in which to grow, learn and play.

Michelle is a creative, down-to-earth, people-person with a generous heart. She is both a Registered Nurse and practicing Attorney. Michelle loves children and has spent many years of her law career representing the best interest of children. Michelle loves to swim, snorkel, scuba dive, ski, camp, hike, ride bikes, and go boating. She is a fan of the arts and loves going to the theater. Michelle has spent much of her free time volunteering and she has been a church member all her life.

Mark is a funny, talented, playful, hardworking, and witty guy. He is a Physician Assistant in an Emergency Room and treats almost all of the children there. Mark is an excellent teacher and children love him. Mark is caring, generous, and compassionate, has a deep faith in the Lord and is artistic and musically inclined, even writing his own music. People always say Mark can fix anything. He is the first person that our neighbors come to for help which he generously gives. He has the unique ability to enter into a child’s world of imagination which makes him popular with all the neighborhood children.
 
I want to help you imagine what your baby’s life will be like with us: Your child will have his/her own room and a gentle, little playful dog. Your child will get to see Granddad, aunts, uncles and cousins often, and will have play-dates with other kids. Most weekends he or she will go on a family outing on Saturday and will attend Sunday school and church on Sunday. Most importantly, your baby will have a safe, secure home with two parents who have no higher priority than to love and nurture him/her.

Our faith is important to us. We will raise our child to know the joy of God’s love. We feel very blessed and grateful for all that we have, but we are longing to have a wonderful child to share it all with. If the life that we have described is what you want for your child, then you may be the special person who will help to make this dream come true.
