Dear Birthmother,

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this letter about us. We are very blessed that you have given us the opportunity to extend our family. We ask that God give you strength during this difficult time and that you have peace in knowing you have made the right decision. Your baby will be raised in a home with lots of warmth and love.

We have tried for several years to have a second child but fertility did not work. We feel that adoption is the way in which God is leading us to extend our family. We have a beautiful daughter named Michelle and we believe we have so much to offer another child. We are blessed with a wonderful, large, four-bedroom home in a very good school district. The neighborhood is filled with many young families, and over 400 children. We are strong in our Christian faith, which is the foundation of our lives. Family is very important to us as well. We both come from very close, loving families that will embrace your child with open arms.

Some of our interests that we plan to share with our child include: going for walks around the neighborhood, going for bicycle rides, going to zoos, learning how to play the piano and so much more. We enjoy going on vacations (at least twice a year). This year we went to California and the Bahamas. We also spend weekends at the shore. We like almost all sports, particularly tennis, baseball, basketball, soccer, and golf. We also like to swim, play miniature golf and go for drives in the car.

I am blessed to be a stay-at-home mom. I enjoy being able to look after our home and family. I like to cook and believe it is important that we eat nutritious meals. I love to make Italian dishes and my favorite is baked ziti. I grew up in a neighborhood about 10 miles from where George grew up. I have three brothers, two older and one younger. All of them are married and have children. 

George is very handy and does all of the improvements around the house. He is very smart and was accepted to college for early admissions. He graduated from a competitive university with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Master’s degree in Science. He has a very successful and financially rewarding career as the Chief Financial Officer of a very large asset management company. It’s not uncommon for me to find George outside playing kickball or baseball with the neighborhood kids on a Saturday afternoon or after work. George coaches soccer and basketball for the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade kids in our local community while I participate in the PTA.

Michelle is anxiously awaiting a new brother or sister. She enjoys sports and playing video games with her friends. Like most kids she doesn’t care too much for school but she still gets very good grades. Her heart is as big as a house and she will make a great older sister. She is always ready to give and help, and will always be there for our new family member.

Your child will have a wonderful life in a safe, secure, loving environment with family and friends.
