Dear Birthmother,

Sometimes in life we find ourselves faced with difficult choices. The selfless manner in which you meet these challenges is a testament to you. We are hopeful that the courageous path you are on leads you to us. 

Vin and I have been happily married since 1993 and live in New York. We are both attorneys and I actually met Vin during my first trial. My client and I both came out winners--I met the man with whom I will spend the rest of my life. We have always wanted a child and are looking at adoption as a way of making our long held dream come true.

We live in a three bedroom ranch style house with a beautiful backyard in a suburban area in New York. We pride ourselves in having a loving and stable home. We enjoy working together on our home and gardening. The gazebo in our yard is actually one that we built together. We can just picture our child playing in the yard and peeking out of the gazebo. 

Vin loves carpentry, gardening and working on his antique car B a 1955 Cadillac. I also enjoy gardening, doing craft projects, cooking, and doing home improvement projects with Vin. I love baking for my nieces and nephews, and enjoy making their school birthday cupcakes and birthday cakes. Aunt Debbie is the one to go to for their special homemade treats.   

Vin and I enjoy taking walks, traveling, and spending time with our family, whether it is a family trip or a weekend get together. During the summer, we love traveling, spending time at the shore and going to various fairs. The only thing that would make these times more special is to be able to share them with our child.      

We both come from close knit families so our family plays an important role in our lives. We enjoy spending time with our nieces and nephews, and have been picked to be godparents for five of them. Our child will have a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and of course a doting grandmother. We feel that family and education are very important. We will instill these values in our child as we do with our nieces and nephews. We are both Catholic and will raise our child in the Catholic faith. We will nurture our child by providing a strong foundation built on love, a strong sense of family, education and stability. 

I could not picture a more loving, caring and wonderful father than Vin. He is loved, trusted and respected by our nieces and nephews, and is so thoughtful where they are concerned. He is always there for them and enjoys spending time with them. You can see the love and pride he feels for them by just looking at him. Any child would be most fortunate to have Vin as their father.

From when I first met Debbie I was impressed with the way she treats others, and especially the away she relates to the kids in our lives. She has a natural ability to stop tears, mend feelings and hold kids’ attention. She truly enjoys teaching life’s little lessons and from what I’ve seen is great at it. Whether it is help with school work or overcoming a predicament she will give her all. She has a quiet, giving nature that has helped her in her work and in life, and has resulted in her having a lot of good friends, some since childhood. We have been together for many years and her devotion to her family and friends has never faltered. She will be an excellent mom.

Thank you for considering us as parents for your child. We promise to love your baby with all of our hearts and to provide a loving, stable, secure and family oriented life.
