Dear Birth Mother,

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us, Eric and Jen. We would also like to thank you for choosing life for your child, and choosing a family to fulfill your dreams for him/her. Although we have not met, we know that you love your baby because you are taking the time to read our letter. We know that you are searching for loving, caring, and nurturing adoptive parents and we know you are doing everything you can to find the best home for the precious bundle of life you are carrying. Eric and I want to love, care for, and be that wonderful and nurturing family for your child. 

Eric is a manager for a major home improvement company. He enjoys playing golf, spending quality time with Wilson, our yellow Labrador Retriever, spending time with our nephews, and traveling. I am a store manager for a major retailer. I enjoy spending time with Eric, Wilson, and our nephews, and I also enjoy golfing, walking biking, and gardening. Together we enjoy spending quality time at home, watching movies and our favorite shows and ballgames. Eric and I have been married since October of 2003 and have built a strong foundation for our family. We have spent the past eight years focused on establishing a strong relationship and successful careers. We decided it would be best to establish our careers before trying to have children. 

Over the last three years, we have experienced difficulty in conceiving a child. It has been a difficult experience for us, but we are focused on providing a positive foundation and nurturing environment for a child, no matter how they come to us. We are excited to start a family and begin a new chapter in our lives. Eric and I were both raised with strong family values, a strong work ethic, and much love, and we want to raise our child with these same virtues that we hold dear to our hearts. 

Eric and I have six nephews between our families and we enjoy spending time with them, attending their baseball, hockey, and basketball games. We also travel with our families and look forward to annual trips to some place fun. We also stay involved by getting together for family birthdays, holidays, and all special occasions.

Eric and I are an enthusiastic, fun-loving couple with dreams of starting a family. We would love to share our love and home with your child. We understand that your decision to place your child with another family must be heartbreaking for you but we hope that you will keep our loving thoughts in mind as you go through this process. We are humbled by your courage and believe that you will take our dream into consideration.
