Kevin and Rebekah

Dear Birth Mother,

As you read through the letters from all the waiting families, we hope and pray that you find the perfect match for you and your baby.  If we are fortunate enough to be that family, we promise to give this baby a lifetime of love, happiness, security, and opportunities. 

Our names are Rebekah and Kevin, and we have been happily married since 2000.  We both come from loving, supportive, and happy families.  We have always wanted children and believe that adoption is the right way for us to welcome a new baby into our family.  We are an active, healthy, and financially secure couple. We believe in teaching our children the importance of love, faith, friendship and responsibility. 

Rebekah has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a background in Graphic Design.  She recently “retired” from her career to be a full-time stay-at-home mom.  She has always loved children and grew up babysitting and worked in a daycare center during college.   Currently, she spends most of her time inventing creative, educational, and fun activities for our adopted daughter.  Rebekah is the younger of two children and is very involved in the lives of her niece and nephew.  In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, boating, cooking, reading and spending time outdoors.

Kevin has an Engineering degree and a Masters degree in Accounting.  He currently works as a Controller in a successful company close to home.  He is the oldest of four children and enjoys spending time with family, coaching, reading, boating, playing soccer, and most other athletic activities. 

In January 2007, we were given the blessing of our first child (adopted).  We felt so grateful and proud when we were able to bring our new baby home to meet our extended family.  Everyone fell in love with her the minute they met her.  She is a very happy and loving little girl. She loves children, especially babies, and enjoys it when they come around for playtime.  We know that she will be a fabulous big sister! 

We live in a beautiful home in a family-friendly neighborhood close to several parks, shopping, and recreation.  We have great neighbors with young children all around us.  We are fortunate to live only minutes from our church and the help of that wonderful community of people.  We also own a timeshare property that allows us to travel all over the world, but we spend most of our vacation time at the water parks because our daughter loves them so much. 

Most of our extended family lives less than an hour away from us.  Rebekah’s parents live on a quiet lake with 40 acres of land for hiking and exploring.  Kevin’s parents live in an area with great parks, lakes, farms, and recreation.  We spend a lot of time with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins of all ages.  They provide us with lots of love and support.
