Timothy and Stacy
Nickname(s): Tim and Stacy

Dear Birthmother,

Our names are Tim and Stacy, and we would like to thank you for taking the time to read this letter and learn a little about us.  We would also like to thank you for making this courageous and selfless decision concerning adoption.  A baby is truly a miracle and a wonderful blessing to everyone.

We met ten years ago when a mutual friend set us up on a blind date.  The first time we talked on the phone we talked for two hours (and still haven’t run out of things to say to each other).  We have been married for eight years and are very happy together although there is a large void in our lives. When we were unable to have children of our own, we decided adopting a baby was the right option for us.  We have a nice home, a loving family, and a great deal of love to share with a child.

We have a newer ranch house on two acres so there is lots of room to play.  We live in the country, but are only five minutes from the schools and town and only twenty minutes from a large city with malls, shopping, colleges, etc.  We have one dog (a golden retriever named Gracie) and one cat (Molly).  We love animals and will always have a dog or cat in our family.  We are very close with both sets of parents, and we frequently get together with both families (we even take vacations all together!)  In fact, our parents will be caring for our baby while we are at work. This will give them ample time to spoil him/her with plenty of hugs and kisses!

We both grew up in caring homes with loving, supportive parents.  We have a very strong set of family values and want to pass those values down to our child.  Our religious backgrounds are Methodist and Baptist and we currently belong to a Baptist church that has wonderful children’s programs. We look forward to hearing the first rendition of “Jesus Loves Me” from our little angel.

For fun we enjoy biking, cooking/baking, reading, taking walks, getting together with family and friends, and camping.  For vacation we usually go camping in our trailer.  Mother Nature has so much to offer and we can’t wait to make those little discoveries with our son or daughter. We are fortunate to live in a state with a large number of campgrounds and vacation spots within a few hours.

We appreciate you taking the time to read about us and become familiar with who we are and what we can offer a baby.  We wish you all the best and are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,
Tim and Stacy
