Timothy and Stacey
Nickname(s): Tim and Stacey

Dear Precious Birthmother,

Thank you for considering us as adoptive parents. We are extremely grateful for this opportunity to tell you about ourselves. It takes courage to think about what would be best for your child and to choose adoptive parents for him or her. We understand you face an extremely difficult decision and we hope that after reading our letter and seeing our profile, we can make your adoption plan a little easier.

We are excited about adding another member to our family. Family is our most precious treasure and we believe it should be celebrated every day with hugs and kisses, words of encouragement, laughter and love. We have decided to adopt in order to provide love, nurturing, and care to a child. Both of us love children (guiding children in the daycare Stacey has been running in our home since 2000) and we want to share our lives with a child. We have so many things to offer: a warm, nurturing environment, the love of our extended families, educational and traveling opportunities, and stability. Everyone who knows us tells us how we would be wonderful parents.

As her loving husband since 1995, let me tell you about Stacey. She makes everyday fun and treats others and me, with love and respect. She values her spiritual relationship with Jesus, which is one of the things that first drew me to her. She enjoys reading, exploring new places, improving her daycare, watching movies, and making our home, a haven. Life is never dull around her. I love her more each day, and cannot wait to see her focus her time, energies and love on a precious baby, we can call our own. I’ve watched her with the daycare children and know she would be a great mother. She would also make a wonderful teacher to our child. Stacy teaches and develops lesson plans for the daycare children, and we plan to home school our child, in order to provide the best possible education.

My turn to tell you about Tim; he has an infectious laugh, a great sense of humor and is easygoing. I love being with him, whether in the car to get groceries, on a road trip, or just hanging out together. Tim was raised in Texas but we met in Arkansas. Tim was working electrical construction and I was working in an accounting office. What started out as a simple friendship has turned into a love that has only become stronger over these past fourteen years. Tim is now an Electrical Maintenance Planner. He fixes everything around the house, including dinner. I like seeing the little boy in him come out when he’s playing with the daycare children or when he explores something new. He’ll make a terrific dad! He is generous and always a gentleman. He enjoys scuba diving, golfing, helping people, traveling, watching movies, and playing around with our dog.

We live in a three bedroom home in a quiet neighborhood, which is a main attraction for Trick-or-Treaters. At the end of our street is a cornfield that leads to a park with a playground, picnic area, and woods to explore. There’s a fishing pond nearby, as well as trails. Our neighborhood is shaped in a large circle with a cul-de-sac and only one entrance into the neighborhood. Our next-door neighbors have a garden and they enjoy sharing their fresh produce with us. It’s a wonderful place to raise a child.

We are close to our families and typically alternate holidays between our parents. Christmas is an important occasion for us. Being Christians, we believe that Christmas is a time to celebrate and reflect on, the birth of Jesus. We are looking forward to celebrating holidays, spending time with family, starting new traditions and making lots of new memories with our child.

Although we have never met, you are very special to us. Words are inadequate to express how honored and thankful we are that you are even considering us to raise your child. If chosen, our lives would truly be blessed.

Thank you,
Tim and Stacey
