Dear Birthmother,

Love is a gift.  It is a precious gift that we are ready and excited to give to your child.

Sisin and I met during my freshman year of college.  We have been married since the winter of 1992. We have been through wonderful, joyous times as well as some tough times. Through it all, we have learned from each other, and our love and respect for each other continues to grow.

Sisin is a vice president of a successful manufacturing business and I am a corporate attorney.  We have been very successful in life and in our careers, and we want to share all we have with your child.  We want to share our love and family, and give your baby the best opportunities in life.

To us, home is wherever our family is.  We share our home with our two little dogs, Winter and Spring.  Both dogs are happy campers, sweet and gentle (if not a little lazy).  They love people and kids.  We live in a spacious five bedroom lakefront home.  The lake is stocked with fish and ducklings.  Since we live in a warm climate, our backyard is brimming with plants, flowers and fruit trees.  Our house is located on a cul-de-sac in a quiet and comfy neighborhood.  It is such a nice neighborhood that two of our siblings have chosen to live here, and live just two minutes from our home.  We will not have a shortage of help and support from family and friends when our baby boy comes home.

Sisin and I are fun-loving and laidback.  We both come from a close-knit family with strong family values.  In our spare time and on weekends, we love visiting with family and friends as well as reading, taking long walks, skiing, hiking and attending local festivals and events.  We enjoy being active and have traveled extensively.  We believe that travel broadens our outlook on life and we want to have the opportunity to share our travels and experiences with your child.

We would be incredibly lucky to have your child join our family.  We will give him the best opportunities to experience life to the fullest.  And most importantly, he will receive the best in education so he can pursue his own dreams in life.  Life teaches us lessons everyday, and we have been taught how to love and the importance of a rich and vibrant family life.  We want to share what we have learned with your baby, and give him the opportunity to grow up in a loving and nurturing environment.
