Dear Birthmother,

We have truly been blessed by the miracle of adoption through the birth of our son 3 ˝ years ago and are so looking forward to experiencing this miracle again.  We are putting our hope and faith in God that he will guide us to the child he has chosen for us and the wonderful birthmom who will bring her into our lives.  Our love for you will forever be present and our prayers for you will be many.  You are a special part of making our dream of expanding our family come true and we are truly thankful for your decision to look for a loving family to raise and nurture your child.

We are both very fortunate to come from happy Christian homes with wonderful parents and siblings who all live within minutes of our house.  Our parents have shown us the example of strong and loving marriages and we value these qualities in our own marriage.  Our faith in God is our foundation and we look forward to raising our children with our Christian beliefs and values.  We have two nieces and two nephews, many young cousins in the family and many of our friends and neighbors have young children as well.

Our son, Tyler, is a beautiful little boy full of life and love.  He is energetic, curious, talkative, and athletic.  He loves to dig in the sand, mow the grass with his plastic mower, play on his play set, ride his bike, find worms and bugs, dance to loud music and do projects with Daddy.  He has a wonderful heart and has been talking about his “baby sister” for quite sometime and how he is going to help when she arrives. 

Mike and I love to spend time together as a couple and with Tyler.  It is definitely something we prioritize.  We have many activities we enjoy yet we love staying home.  The quiet moments as a family are what we love the most.  Cooking has become one of our passions and we love to try new recipes.  We participate in a gourmet cooking club with several of our good friends.  Love, laughter and good food fill our home and we enjoy sharing this with others.   

Mike is a sales representative in the dental industry.  He values his wife, son and family and always makes time for them. He is easy going, honest, genuine, and loving.  His most treasured role is being “Daddy”.  Stephanie is an Occupational Therapist yet works only one day a week.  She loves being a stay at home mom for Tyler.  She waited a long time to become a mom and gives it her all.  She is patient, loving and willing to try many things including catching frogs and bugs.  She spends her day doing things that Tyler likes to do such as coloring, playing hide and seek, reading books, and just cuddling.     

The dreams we have for our children include wanting them to know they are loved deeply and accepted for who they are.  We long to teach them to dream big and to work hard to accomplish their goals, to be loving and caring and always think of others, to be generous givers in all that they do, and to know God for his enduring love and guidance.  We admire your courage and love for your child and are deeply grateful for your decision to allow a loving family to raise her.
