Dear Beautiful Birthmother,

You are a beautiful person because God created you.  You are a beautiful person because you chose life for your baby.  You are making such a brave and selfless decision for your baby. We respect and admire you. Thank you for considering us as parents for your precious child.

Our names are Jim and Ellen and we met in 1996 through a friend of ours at Jim’s employment.  We have been married for eleven years and our love, respect and admiration for one another has grown with each passing year.  Because of our faith in God and Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we have assurance of God’s unchanging love for our family.  It gives us confidence as we seek to live for Him.  We are praying for God’s guidance in our journey to extend our family through adoption.

Jim has a rewarding and challenging job working for a company as a warehouse manager.  He has great leadership skills and work ethics.  He likes gardening, cooking, computer games, and hockey, but his favorite is spending time with our children. He enjoys many responsibilities at our church including being a member of the Youth group steering committee and missions committee. This year, he got to go on a Missions trip with our church to Jamaica to help build a church.   He is an affectionate, fun loving husband and father with a great sense of humor.  He loves to hug, tickle and joke around with us.  His favorite games to play with the girls are Connect 4, Uno and Cariboo.  I love going on dates with him, especially to eat Mexican food.

My wife Ellen is a stay at home mom and home schools our three daughters. She believes there is no better place for her than to be at home nurturing, guiding, loving and teaching God’s Word through home school education. Ellen is a loving, energetic, dedicated wife and mother.  She loves to run, walk our dogs, and do aerobics and Pilates.  Ellen and our girls enjoy going to a local nursing home to read and visit with the residents twice a month.  She also volunteers with our children at the local food pantry on Fridays.  She enjoys making cookies and cards with the girls to send to family and friends.  My favorite dates with Ellen are going bike riding and spending time talking. 

We have a very fun, active life raising three beautiful children. Kingsley 9 yrs, Skylar 7 yrs, and Harlie 4 years old, are very excited about adopting a child.  They have prayed for two years for a new baby brother/sister to love and care for.  The girls have already picked out a place for the baby to sleep and look forward to buying clothes and toys for him/her.  They enjoy many sports like dancing, swimming, gymnastics, horseback riding, and cheerleading.

In our home, you are always welcome as it says on our mailbox, “Welcome”.  Near our front door, you are greeted with the children’s hand and footprints on stepping stones. Inside our house you will see us reading books, making art projects, and singing. The girls performing a dance for us, or teaching a dance class to their dolls and stuffed animals. Our day ends, with a Bible reading and children’s devotional and bedtime prayers. 

We are seeking adoption because we adore, respect and love all children and are unable to have more of our own. We are thankful for you and your baby and the sacrifice you have made for your child. God Bless you and your baby.
