Adoption Successes

Erik and Nancy

We have dreamt of campfires with roasted marshmallows and sticky fingers, pillow fights and giggling children, little feet running down our stairs on Christmas morning. In 2005, our dream came true and prayers were answered with the birth of our son Benjamin. He is an exuberant and curious toddler who says “hello” to the birdies and squirrels in our backyard, delights in splashing in water puddles when Nancy waters the flowers, and squeals and runs to “Dadddaaa!!!” when Erik comes home from work. Yet, we feel there is still a part of our dream to be realized. It is our desire to bring another child into our home so that we may watch him or her grow and learn.

Mark and Stephanie

As we began to write this letter, we realized that we may not get the opportunity to know you completely. You are beginning a process that we can only imagine is the hardest you will ever have to face. We want you to know that we have the utmost caring and respect for you, and we are so grateful for your bravery.

Raymond and Kelly

The choice you are making is the most selfless one anyone could ever make for another. Your fears must be overwhelming. We believe that we have been brought into your life to assure you that your baby will have a loving and safe home in which to grow up. After five years of trying to start a family on our own and attempting infertility treatments, we found we were unable to conceive. This is why we have come to you, to answer both your prayers and ours for the life of your child.

Patrick and Lisa

We believe that dreams can come true. One of our dreams is to share our wonderful lives with children and provide them with all of the love and support we have to give. With tough decisions to make and hard work ahead your generosity will enable the dreams of those less fortunate to come true.

Matthew and Cynthia
Thank you for reading our letter and for making such a brave decision that will bring so much joy and happiness. Our names are Cindy and Matt. We love children and value our relationships with family and friends above all else in our lives. When our daughter Sydney was born to us we started our adventure toward becoming parents; an adventure we hope and pray will include another child. There is no other experience we cherish more than the daily joy of being parents. Playing in the park, planning birthday parties, scheduling play dates, taking family trips, and even doing homework are just a few of the many treasured moments in our lives. We can think of nothing we want more than to grow our family and we hope we can be part of your adoption plan.
Jonathan and Shana

There are no words to describe how much we respect you for the decision you are making.  It is by no means, an easy one, and we have so much love in our hearts for you.

Paul and DeAnna
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to introduce ourselves. First, we would like to say how much we respect you for doing such a selfless, loving, and heroic thing; by creating an adoption plan for your child. We pray that you find comfort in the beautiful life you are giving your child as well as fulfilling our dream of becoming parents.
Nevin and Jessica
The love we share, the white picket fence, the dog at our side, and great family and friends are all a part of our fairytale dreams. Except, in our loving home we are missing one important aspect of our lives to make everything complete - a child to share our fairytale dream come true.
Thomas and Wendy

We would like to start this letter by saying Thank You. Thank you for your love, strength, and courage. We know how overwhelming all of the letters must be, but we’re hoping a glimpse into our life will find you some comfort in selecting a family that will love and treasure your child.  Adoption has been the most rewarding experience and provided light into our lives when we were blessed with a beautiful daughter (Taylor). Joy, excitement, and anxiousness are just a few words to explain how we feel waiting to be blessed with another child. We’re excited not only for us but for Taylor to have a sibling to grow up with and share experiences. Watching her share toys and interact with other children at the playground, it’s apparent she’ll be an excellent sister.

Imagine the four seasons in California: a cool spring morning, lounging in the hammock underneath the trees (with all the animals gathered around – Jedi the dog, Ivan, Felix and Oscar the cats); a hot summer night, drinking lemonade and enjoying the song of the crickets, after a day of swimming at the beach; a warm windy autumn and a trip to Disneyland and a blustery cold winter, the home filled with the delicious smells of holiday cakes and cookies, Christmas celebrations, and a trip to the mountains to play in the snow.
John and Stacy

What is yellow and green on the outside, white and empty on the inside?  A baby book, sitting on a shelf in our nursery!  The pages are still blank waiting to be filled with captured moments of joy and happiness!  We can not begin to express what your decision means to us.  The thoughts and emotions you must be going through we can’t begin to imagine.  We know you want the best for your child.  We have hopes and dreams of a future with a child in it.  Hopefully, we can come together to make both our dreams come true!

James and Jennifer
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this letter about my husband, Jim and me, Jennifer. Let me start by saying what a wonderful, selfless, loving thing you are doing for your child. Jim and I have wanted to expand our family for a long time now and we are unable to do this without the help of someone like you. We believe that God has led us down this path and if you pick us, we promise to love your child as if we had created him or her ourselves.
David and Michele

Words cannot describe the emotions we are feeling right now as we present ourselves to you. You truly are one of the bravest and most gracious women we will ever meet. We are truly in awe of you and your strength for making the most challenging and loving decision.

Todd and Deborah
Thank you for considering us to be the parents of your child. As adoptive parents we will strive to make our kids feel loved and secure, to provide a strong family support system, to let them know from the beginning that they were adopted and to involve our birth family in our lives. Our dreams include snuggling our little one in a rocking chair, exploring the world together, reading bedtime stories and loving our children unconditionally. We are unable to have kids of our own, so choosing adoption seems natural for us.
Scott and Amanda

Hi, we are Scott and Amanda and we would like to tell you about our family. We met twelve years ago at work and married in the winter of 1999. We have a young son named Zachary who will be starting first grade soon. We will miss the pitter patter of little feet around the house all day, but are very excited about the joy a new baby will add to our family. This sense of joy is what brings us to you now. We hope you will consider us as adoptive parents for your precious daughter.

Kurtis and Aimee
We are so happy you have chosen life for your child, and just by finding this website, we are closer to knowing each other than you think. God has led you here for a very important reason. Your baby will grow up knowing the sacrifice you made and what a loving and truly courageous person you are. We would love to know your story and offer that listening ear. We are very open people and wear our hearts on our sleeves. Our relationship is up to you, the choices are in your hands, but we are available and offer you our friendship. You are now and will always be in our daily prayers.
Howard and Sabrina
First of all, we want to thank you so much for looking at our profile and considering us in this difficult decision. We are praying for you and the decisions that you are making. Although things may be hard right now, please know that you are very brave and that God has the perfect family picked out for your child. We hope that family is us. We want to use this letter to make sure you know as much about us as possible so you will feel comfortable in knowing who your child’s family might be.
Jeffri and Shalah

Adoption has always been part of our family story. Jeff’s mother was adopted as a newborn and we’ve seen firsthand how wonderfully her life has turned out. Evan, our adopted son is anxiously awaiting the arrival of the new baby. He can’t wait to be a big brother. We believe that being honest and open with our children about their adoption stories is the best way for them to truly understand the miracle that brought us together.

Seth and Jennifer
We are Jen and Seth, and we thank and admire you for the courageous decision you are making to share with us the life of a child which we are unable to create on our own. We cannot imagine how difficult this decision is for you and we will always keep you in our hearts. Be assured that we will do everything in our power to make sure our child is brought up to be confident, happy, and free to pursue their interests and dreams.
Paul and Julie

Thank you for considering us as adoptive parents. We appreciate the courageous decision you have made to share the most precious of gifts, the gift the life. We are sure you want to know about us and what kind of parents we would be to your child. To start, we dated for two years before tying the knot, have been married since 1997, and have a wonderful marriage. We have rewarding careers and have had many wonderful experiences together. Despite all that, we realize that there is something more - the blessing of sharing our lives with a child.

Brian and Jennifer

Hello, we are Jenny and Brian, and we want to thank you for taking the time to read our letter. We know that this is a very difficult decision for you, but please know that we respect you so much and wish you the very best. If you decide to choose us as adoptive parents for your child, he or she will always be loved and cared for.

Erik and Georgina
We are so excited you are taking the time to read our letter and giving us a chance to tell you a little bit about us. We are Georgina and Erik, and we are in need of your help. We have received some difficult news from our fertility specialist that we are unable to birth our own child. With your ability to carry a child to full term, give birth, and place your child for adoption, we may receive our heart-filled wish to have a child of our own. Your selfless decision will have a significant impact on the rest of our lives by helping us complete our family.
