OUR THOUGHTS TO YOU: It takes a lot of love and bravery to make the decision to place your child for adoption. Should you choose us to bless with your child, please know that we will honor your courageous sacrifice of love for your child each and every day of their life and we will make sure they have every opportunity to live a full and happy life.

WHY WE WANT TO ADOPT: We have both wanted to be parents for as long as we can remember. We didn’t find each other until a little later in life, but when we did we knew we were meant to be together. We dearly love children and feel that life without them leaves a hole in our hearts. Unable to have children and wanting to be parents we chose adoption as the best way to grow the family that we have always dreamed about.

We have been foster parents for over two years now and during this time we have fostered 3 boys in our home. Our son Felex is almost 4 years old and has been with us since he was 1. We were his foster parents for the last 3 years and feel so blessed to have been able to adopt him in 2020. He is so smart, loving and funny. We feel like he was meant to be part of our family. He loves to play any sports and dance to music. He started preschool just recently and loves to sing us songs that he learned and talk about his day.

ABOUT US: We feel so blessed to have found each other. We enjoy going out to dinner or just staying home and playing board games. Going to the movies is also a special treat we enjoy and we take turns on who picks the movie because we have such different tastes but we enjoy it no matter what we are seeing. We love to travel and have been to Canada, Caribbean, Oregon Coast and Disneyland. We actually got engaged at Disneyland. Every year we look for a new place we haven’t seen together. We also take a once a year family vacation with our extended family so we get to spend quality time together. Going out to eat and trying new foods is also something we enjoy. Amit is very adventurous and will try anything. It’s fun finding a new place to try new and good food.

We both love music, though different kinds. We appreciate each other’s tastes even if not our favorite and really enjoy going out to concerts and spend time together no matter what music may be playing.

We have so many great memories about vacations when we were growing up and hope to continue with our family. Amit’s most memorable was going to Fiji and he wants to go back and take Natalie and our child(ren). Natalie has memories of Catalina Island and getting to bike ride everywhere and eat out for the week.

To put it simply, we just enjoy spending time together.

Natalie loves to bake and has great memories of doing this with her Mom and can’t wait to make the same kind of memories when blessed with a child. She has family recipes that she is so excited to pass down such as making homemade ice cream for everyone’s birthdays. Natalie is a receptionist at a Pediatric Therapy office that helps kids with speech therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy.

Amit would love to teach your child to play sports and try new things. He is not afraid to try anything new and is so good at everything he puts his mind to; he has fun while doing it. He is looking forward to all the aspects of being a father, including changing diapers. Amit is Manager at a retail home and grocery store. As a couple we enjoy taking our two dogs for a walk and can’t wait to add pushing a baby stroller while we are walking the dogs.

ABOUT OUR FAMILIES: Your child will be so loved. We are both close to our families and love spending time with them whenever possible. Our families are so excited and supportive for us to grow or family and looking forward to a child to add to our family get-togethers and holidays.

OUR FAMILY TRADITIONS: The Holidays are our favorite; we love to decorate inside and out even when it is just the two of us. In October we pick out our pumpkins at the pumpkin patch and make a day of it at a local farm to see the animals or have a pumpkin donut and then go home and carve. Trick or treaters love to come to our house since it is so lit up and so it’s fun passing out candy to all the kids so we can see all the costumes. November we look forward to time off of work so we can enjoy our family. Every year we have visitors and all work together to make a big turkey dinner. Christmas time we take a cruise around the lake to look at Christmas lights to get in the festivities. Christmas Eve is spent at home opening a few presents and just snacking; Christmas Day is with all the family eating our favorite foods and relaxing together talking about our hopes and dreams for the New Year.

ABOUT WHERE WE LIVE: We are very fortunate to live in a beautiful Northwest community of Washington State where we get to experience all the beautiful seasons. Winter is cold and is a great time to spend in the snow and building snowmen. Fall is beautiful and we have the luxury to go to local farms to pick our pumpkins so we can carve them for Halloween. In the spring we are busy outside getting our yards beautiful for the summer or just taking the dogs for a walk. Summer is for playing at nearby lakes, golfing and barbecuing.

We enjoy our time together and can’t wait for our dreams of adding a child to our family comes true.

With Love,
Natalie and Amit

Q&A

Do you have pets? If so tell us about them?

We have two rescue dogs, a lab mix, Pretty Girl who is 5 and a 2-year-old Jack Russell mix, Gizmo. Pretty Girl is happy to just lay around and relax. Gizmo loves to run around, help with the dishwasher and play with his toys. They both have brought so much happiness to us.

What do you hope to teach your children?

We both have good values and had very happy childhoods. Our parents taught us to respect others and appreciate what we have. We want this for our kids.

Describe your neighborhood?

We live in a long cul-de-sac that has kids in about 10 of the 20 houses. They range from 1 year old to 13 years old. Almost every night in the spring and summer you will see the kids out playing together from the different houses. There is a tether ball and basketball hoop out there, plus they play football together. Most nights there is at least one dad out there playing with the neighborhood kids. Families come and ride bikes together and many of the homes have dogs so you will see them walking dogs often. Everyone takes good care of their homes and watches out for each other; we are so grateful to have found this area.

What will you tell your child about his/her birthmother?

She was very brave to be able to carry her baby and then make the ultimate courageous sacrifice out of love. That is a lot of love. We will share from the very beginning that they are adopted and so lucky to have two Mom’s. We are hoping to have pictures and stories to share.

When you close your eyes and see yourself holding your precious baby in your arms, what are your thoughts regarding his or her birth mother?

AMIT: I will be forever thankful to our child’s birth mother for the precious gift of becoming a dad and filling our lives with the love of a child. NATALIE: I am so grateful to be chosen and have my dreams come true to be a Mom.
