Dear Expectant Parent:
It is with great honor and respect that we write you this letter. The choice you are making for your child is such an amazing act of unselfishness and love! You may be wondering why we want to love your baby. God is amazing and while we have been blessed with four beautiful children, we have a love and desire in our hearts for another child to join our family.
As parents, we love teaching and guiding our children by setting examples and creating hands-on experiences. We have a blast together as a family, whether it is completing homework at the kitchen table or having dance parties in the living room. As a family we go to church each week; some of our favorite memories growing up was going to youth group and vacation bible school. We would like to give the same opportunities to your baby. Laughter is a must in our home and we are truly blessed to have each other and our family. We are very excited for another child to join our family.
We were high school sweethearts and got married in June 2004. Our love continues to grow over the years. We have 4 beautiful children: Matthew 9, Daniel 6, James 5 and Ava 2. Our children are very close. They love to play football together, build forts, and wrestle. The boys love to protect their sister. They stick up for each other. They are super excited to have another sibling. They talk about how they are going to play and teach him/her.
Andy: After retiring from the military I became a Machinist because I enjoy working with my hands and making worn out things work again. But what I enjoy most in life is to spend time with my family, playing in the backyard with the kids and tinkering around with old vehicles. The neighborhood children often join in on our family football games, building forts in the woods, riding dirt bikes or having a cook out.
Kim: I became a Special Education Teacher because I have a heart for children. Our school age children are lucky to go to the same school that I teach at. I love to spend my days walking, bike riding and anything that involves my family! I enjoy cooking out, going to parks, and watching Andy playing with the kids. One of my favorite things to do at the end of a long day is to cuddle up and watch a movie or read books together. We do not watch a lot of TV or play a ton of video games, so when we all sit down together to watch a movie, it is really special.
We live in a two-story house that has plenty of room for a growing family. Our backyard is a half-acre that backs into a wooded area where the kids love to climb trees and build forts. The wooded area opens into an arboretum where the kids ride bikes around the trails, play tag and use it as a cut through to get to the local school playground.
The child that joins our family through the gift of adoption will always know that before they were even born their mother loved them. We cannot thank you enough for taking the time to read our letter and we hope to hear from you soon.
