Our letter to you…
First we would like to thank you for taking the time to read
our profile. We realize that this can’t be an easy process for you. We can’t
imagine what you must be feeling right now, as you sift through profiles and
try to pick the family that will raise your baby. It takes an incredibly
courageous person to put their unborn baby’s needs before their own and for
that we will forever admire and respect you.
We met 12 years ago. We have been happily married for 10
years and we are blessed with a 7-year-old boy named Isaac. Our dream has
always been to be a family of 4. My son dreams about being a big brother. After
many miscarriages I was finally pregnant with a baby girl. We were super
excited and counting the days to have her in our lives. Unfortunately when I
was 6 ½ months I was rushed to the hospital where the doctors performed an
emergency C-section and my baby was born prematurely. Three days later her
little heart couldn’t force it anymore and our daughter passed away in my arms.
Due to the emergency procedure I’m not able to get pregnant anymore.
Today we still dream about being a family of 4. We have a
lot of love to offer. Our son still dreams of being a big brother, having
somebody to love, to play with, to care about, teach and protect. So one day
while watching a movie our son asked us: Can we adopt a baby? Can we provide a
home, family and love to a baby that he can call his brother or sister? We
always thought about the idea of adoption but at this point we knew that this
is what we are meant to do.
We are a very united family. Our time together is priceless.
We live in Florida so our everyday life is what most people would consider a
vacation. As a family we like to do fun things like going to the theme parks,
the beach, the movies, bowling, mini golf and so on. We also like sports,
outdoor activities and we love to travel. To us love is spelled T-I-M-E. It’s
all about spending quality time together and creating memories that will last a
lifetime. We always have time for each other, no matter how hard the day goes
or how tired we are, our son knows that we always have time to listen about his
day and help him with anything he needs.
We are not here to make you empty promises or give you false
expectations about a perfect world because the fact is that the world is
imperfect. However, what we can promise you, if your heart chooses us, is to
give your baby unconditional love, unlimited time, attention, dedication,
guidance, education and a faith based family, so that he/she one day can grow
up to be an incredible adult that you will be proud of. We promise you, we will
work each and every day to help to help guide him/her in the right path and be
there for him/her every step of the way.
We are praying for you as you make this decision and trust
that you will make the perfect choice for your baby.
Liz & Isaac
