Dear Sweet, Expectant Mother,
Thank you so much for reading our letter. We appreciate you and respect you
so much for doing what you are considering for your baby. As we write this
letter to you, tears are flowing down the face of my wife and my heart just
cannot imagine what you are going through. We know you have to make a very
difficult decision and we want you to know that we would be honored to love and
nurture your baby.
We met and married in Mississippi, with the love and support of our
families, and have lived in Alabama now for over 10 years. We have a strong,
loving and stable marriage and are still very much in love. We met through a
mutual friend. When I first met Willie I became interested in him because he
was not like any of the other men I knew. He was kind, respectful, sweet and a
gentleman. I fell in love with him because I saw how amazingly well he treated
his mother and sisters. Willie jokes that I fell in love with him because he
taught me to drive. We dated for a year and he proposed on Christmas day. Willie
is an amazing father to our three sons who love and adore him. He enjoys
watching movies and doing carpentry. Willie is already talking about building
toys for the new baby. He is so sweet. Tonya is a warm and loving person as
well as a very protective mom. She can’t wait to become the mother of a
daughter to cherish, adore and lovingly spoil.
We have been blessed with three handsome and wonderful sons who keep us
laughing all the time. Our oldest son, Willie Jr., is a college student working
on obtaining his nursing degree. He was voted “Most Handsome” in school because
of his beautiful smile. He is shy but has a lot of good friends. Our middle son
is Jamar and he is in high school. He is funny, very smart, sweet and caring
and wants to be a traveling nurse when he gets older. Our youngest son Jeremiah
is in middle school. He funny and sweet and he is the jokester of the family. As
our sons have gotten older we have talked about our dream of having a daughter.
Our sons are very supportive and excited about our plans to adopt a baby and
can’t wait for a baby sister to join our family.
Our promise to you is that we will love your baby unconditionally and raise
her to know God. We have made a promise to God to raise our children in the church
and we have kept our promise. We are so excited and overjoyed at even the
thought of you choosing us for your child. You will not regret it. We have a
big family which includes 4 sisters and 4 brothers, a sister-in-law, brothers-in-law,
a bunch of cousins, and aunties as well. You are welcome to call us any time.
We will send you pictures all the time and will never stop talking about you to
We have a big house with a huge back yard. We have 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms,
a basement, and a garage. We have very nice neighbors and good schools that are
very close by. We love our neighborhood. We look after everyone in this
community. As a family we enjoy bowling, skating or going to the arcade. We
also travel to Mississippi once a year for our family reunion. We also take
family vacations to Florida.
We can’t wait to see you and talk to you. You can ask us anything and we
would love for you to call us when you need to talk. Willie and I are both
great listeners and are very patient. We value family, kindness and faith, and
will raise your child with these values. Again, we appreciate you for
considering our family and for taking the time to learn more about us. We will
be praying for you every day.
God Bless You,
Willie & Tonya
