Dear Expectant Mother,
We would like
to start by saying “Thank You” for taking the time to consider us as the adoptive parents for your baby. We both know
that this is a very tough decision and we admire your strength and courage through
the process. Our hope is that you can see how much love we have for each other,
our families, friends and your precious baby as a gift. We are beyond excited to
adopt and welcome your son or daughter into our home and into our family. We are
Tyler and Kayla and we would love to welcome you into our lives as well.
Tyler is in law enforcement
and takes pride in his work and the way he conducts himself both personally and
professionally. He has a military background, having served our country as a United
States Marine. He is very loving, genuine, and he has a one-of-a kind personality.
Tyler devotes countless hours of his time in the community mentoring young kids
and serving as a high school baseball coach. He loves baseball, football and family
vacations. Tyler also enjoys cooking and relaxing on the back patio. He is an amazing
husband, uncle, godfather and all-around great person to anyone that knows him.
Kayla is a Mortgage
Underwriter at a local bank. She has devoted many years to her craft, which speaks
highly about her dedication and loyalty. She is very close to her family and friends,
and loves to shop, decorate and take on small projects. Kayla enjoys going to
the beach with family and friends and taking weekend trips with Tyler. She is thoughtful,
kind hearted and loves unconditionally. She spends quality time with all of her
godchildren, treating them as her own. Kayla loves to cook outside on the back patio,
while swinging on our wood swing.
We have known each
other for over 20 years, and live in a small community which is known for its wonderful
cuisine and southern hospitality. We met while attending a local festival with mutual
friends. We engaged in friendly chit-chat and our relationship blossomed after
only brief conversation. We knew we were meant for each other. During the seven
years we have been together, we knew that one day we would welcome one of God’s greatest gifts, a
son or a daughter. After several unsuccessful attempts to conceive, we both agreed to embrace the idea of adoption.
Our families are
very close-knit. Kayla is an only child. She unfortunately lost her mother 10 years
ago and her father last year. Tyler is also very close to his family. His parents
have been married for 49 years and have molded and mentored three successful children.
Tyler has 2 older brothers that we remain in close contact with. He has five nieces
and nephews that we adore. The opportunity to love another child would certainly fill Tyler’s family’s hearts
with joy and happiness. We believe Kayla’s mom and dad are looking down from up above and smiling at the thought of their
beautiful daughter and son-in-law as parents.
We have a beautiful,
spacious home with a nice-size backyard, situated in a quiet subdivision. We recently
added a back patio and love to spend quality time there. Our neighborhood has lots
of children that would be happy to welcome a new friend to the group. While we
enjoy the quiet lifestyle of a small community, we are only minutes from enjoying
the many activities children love the most.
Together with our
families, we enjoy many great traditions. We love embracing our strong Cajun tradition
and we cannot wait to teach our little one all about it. Some of the traditions including singing “Hap Hap”
(happy birthday), because you are never too old to celebrate a birthday in our family, and we love to dance and sing to local
music. In the spring time, we get together for crawfish boils, and on Easter Sunday,
we have an Easter Egg hunt
with all the children in the family. We “paques” (pock) boiled and dyed eggs, to see who has the best and strongest
eggs. It will bring us great joy to watch your child enjoy some these traditions
with us. Tyler is so excited to have the opportunity to teach your child about sports
and to attend their games. Kayla is ecstatic about playing dress up with your
child and to bring him/her along on shopping sprees. Together, we are thrilled
about making endless memories. We welcome the opportunity for our family to travel
to Disney World, the beach, the Audubon Zoo and Aquarium in New Orleans. We are
looking forward to embarking upon these exciting adventures.
We both strongly
believe the importance of instilling strong morals and values such as self- respect,
respecting your elders, kindness, honesty and humility. Your child will also grow
up in a very faith-filled home. Spirituality and the presence of the Lord is very
important to us.
We would love to once again say “Thank You”
for considering us to be a part of this wonderful journey. We are beyond thrilled at the thought of witnessing our
dream of having a child come true. You already have a place in our hearts and we
want to reassure you that there will be no greater love for your child, than the
love that we will offer.
Tyler and Kayla
