must be an extremely hard decision for you to make, but we want you to know
that your child will have an amazing life as a part of our family. Hopefully
this letter will give you a glimpse of a day in the life of Brian and Nicole.
We currently live in a condo in Massachusetts. We both grew up in the south
shore area, where our families still reside. We are a very close family, and
have about 75+ relatives in the area (some on the same street). Things get a
bit hectic, but family parties are always fun. We all get along great and
your child will have many cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents to fill
their life with love and laughter.
met after college through mutual friends, and came to find out we grew up just
10 minutes apart, in neighboring towns. We started dating just a year after
college and instantly fell in love. Brian proposed in December of 2014, by a
beautiful Christmas tree. Other than being an extremely frigid night, it was
one of the best of our lives. We then got married in 2015 – which
instantly became the ‘new’ best day of our lives. We have always talked about
having a family.
is living life with Cystic Fibrosis. The overall burden of the disease is
moderate, and Nicole manages CF very well, which allows her to live a very
normal life. While Nicole is unsure of carrying her own child, we know we are
ready to start a family, and we feel adoption is the perfect solution. Nicole’s
mother was adopted after birth, so we know firsthand what an amazing experience
this will be. You would be giving us what we cannot have on our own. Our number
one priority in life will be caring for your child, watching them grow,
teaching them our values, and being their best friend. And we cannot explain
how excited we are to start on this next chapter of our lives.
lead very active lives and have many hobbies. We both love to golf, boat, ski, and
travel. Usually the weekend battle is whether we golf or go out on the
boat. A typical ‘boat day’ includes meeting friends and family out on the
islands in the harbor and playing games and cooking out for the day. These are
some of our fondest memories that we cannot wait to have your child be part of.
We will teach your child to golf at a very young age, I am sure. After a lesson
we will then head over to the pool and relax there for some more fun in the
sun. As, we love to travel, we hope to expose your child to different
cultures, foods, scenery, and build memories that will last a life time.
was a little peek into our interests and what keeps us busy outside of work.
The main message is, we love spending time together, whether it’s out and about
or on the couch watching a movie. We make each other laugh every day and never
go to bed without saying goodnight and I love you. Having a child as part of
our life, would make this puzzle complete. We hope this letter helps you
envision your child’s future. We want you to feel confident in your choice, and
while we cannot relate to your situation, you can have full trust in us caring
for your child. As your child grows, we will remind the child that your unconditional
love is always present in their life.
