Dear Expectant Mother,
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for taking the time
to even consider us and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you as you
consider adoption for your child.
We are so excited at the prospect of your child joining our
little family! He or she would have two older sisters, Carys and Annalise
who were born in January 2017 and January 2019 respectively. Carys is a sassy,
inquisitive kid and Annalise is a toddler, learning all about the world around
her. It has been a fun, wild, and exciting journey growing as parents. Shortly
after Carys was born, we knew we wanted to start on our adoption journey and
have been waiting, hoping, and praying for you.
We would be thrilled to welcome our third child to the
mix! It might seem crazy to want our children that close together in age
but we both have very close relationships with our siblings and want the same
for our children. Both Aaron and I have brothers, whom we were both close to in
age, allowing us to literally grow, learn, and explore together during our
childhood. Some of our fondest memories are of our adventures with our
brothers, such as catching tadpoles, camping trips, hide and seek, and
sleepovers at grandparents’ houses.
We are an active and outgoing family, but sometimes we like
to relax and just hang out at home as a family. On weekends, you'll catch us
working with our two horses, exploring new national parks while camping and
hiking, or just hanging out in the backyard barbecuing with friends. Carys is
full of energy and she loves being outside with us, exploring nature, and
reading books. It has been an absolute joy watching her grow and develop
into the sassy, inquisitive kid we know today. Annalise’s personality is
blossoming. She is definitely an extrovert and loves to play and tries to keep
up with her big sister. Each child is so different, and we can’t wait to see
what personalities and gifts your child will bless us with. Your child will be
provided with many opportunities to learn, to explore the world, and to find
out what their passions are.
Being in the military has taught us a very important life
lesson, that family is more than just blood. The people we serve with are truly
our brothers and sisters. Know that your child would be welcomed with open
arms, into our nuclear family, extended family, and military family. We
are so looking forward to this beautiful blessing of your child joining our
We live in a small, quiet country neighborhood on the
outskirts of town, only a few minutes away from a park, our church, and school.
Our house might not be the largest, but it is filled with stories, laughter,
and love. We also have one cat and two horses here at the house with us. We
love having pets and believe that raising children around them will help teach
responsibility and provide a sense of accomplishment as they grow. If you
choose to bless us with your child, he or she will have a fulfilling childhood
surrounded by faith, family, friends, pets, and most importantly, love.
Our entire family is also eager to welcome your child into
the family. They can’t wait to share our family traditions such as making apple
butter, camping trips, fishing, or heading over to Great Grandma and Grandpa's
house on snowy Christmas mornings. Our families are large, crazy, and
fun, but your child would be surrounded with loving role models and
Whatever you decide, know that you are in our thoughts and
prayers. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for taking the time to
consider our family.
