Dear Expectant Mother,
We are all God’s children and we are
here for a specific reason and life purpose.
You are considering a decision that understandably is not easy but it is
courageous for you to choose a path that will lead to the best life possible
for your baby. We admire your courageous
consideration to seek adoptive parents. Tom is adopted and is so grateful to
his own Birth Mother for allowing him to be loved and cared for by his Adoptive
Parents, who have given him so much love, support, and opportunity to become
the loving person he is.
We live in beautiful scenic
Pennsylvania, in a 3-floor condominium with a recently finished basement. Our home is warm and inviting, and anxiously
awaiting to hear the laughter of a child!
There are other children in our community. We also have a bay front home in New Jersey
where there is access to swimming, fishing, crabbing, and beautiful
sunsets every day.
Tom and I met on an online dating site
in 2004. Having so many common interests from music, movies, and travel to the
outdoors, it was a match made in heaven.
We lived an hour-and-a-half apart, so we needed to put a lot of effort
into our relationship, including compromise and sacrifice. We have always enjoyed spending quality time
together. Our relationship is full of
fun, adventure, and quality time with family.
We frequently attend festivals, sporting events, concerts and
movies. And we like to travel, including
a trip to Disney World each year.
Yet, our lives feel incomplete without
a child to nurture and share our adventures with. We do not have any other children. We will be caring, intelligent parents. We have learned a lot from all of our friends
who have children, and we are mature. We
are ready to build a family of our own!
Thank you for reading our letter and
taking the time to get to know us.
Thomas & Glenda
