Dear Expectant Mother,
Let me start out by saying that I am a sucker for a good love
story. The kind of story that gives you goose pimples and brings tears to your
eyes. A story where things seem impossible but through faith and selflessness, love
prevails. Love always prevails! My husband and I are looking for our happy
ending and hope that you will consider being a part of our journey to finish
the last few chapters to our love story.
Both my husband and I kissed a lot of frogs before finding
each other! We found each other at Starbucks later in life than we had both
expected, but it was love at first sight! We have not been apart since that
day! We have been together for several years and were married in an amazing
ceremony on Valentine’s Day 2014.
I have been working with children all my life and have been
a first grade teacher for the last 16 years! Their little faces and happy
attitudes keep me smiling each day. I can’t imagine a more perfect way to spend
my days than with twenty-five happy little six-year-olds. I truly love my job!
In addition to teaching, I spend my free time painting, cooking, walking my dog
and spending time with my family and friends.
My husband works with troubled teens. He enjoys the
challenges and the possibilities that these children have. He loves to spend
time mentoring children and building special connections with friends'
children. He also loves to stay healthy; works out at the gym, plays softball
and adores any sporting event. He can’t wait to share his love for sports with
your child, boy or girl. He already has a Chicago Blackhawks hockey onesie
picked out for your baby.
Our newest addition to the family is a little Pomeranian
puppy we adopted last year, but she is also really hoping for a baby brother or
sister to love and play with. We have been working on completing our family for
the past two years. We have experienced the heartbreak of miscarriages, failed
fertility treatments and numerous procedures. Brandon was adopted and knows
firsthand how positive an impact it can have on a child’s life, and we’re
confident that this is the path we were meant to take. Brandon’s parents Pat
and Dan were generous and loving parents. They were positive role models for
Brandon and his older brother Jim, who was also adopted. Pat and Dan loved and
provided for the boys giving them opportunities and guidance to build lives of
their own. To this day Brandon has a special bond with his parents and brother.
Adoption was such a positive experience for Brandon, and he would like the
opportunity to be a loving parent as well. Adoption gives us new hope of
building the family we have always dreamed of.
What a special person you must be to think of your child
first and work to establish the best home possible for your child. We are so
thankful that for this amazing sacrifice you are making for your child. We know
that the decision is not easy and we admire and respect your courage and
selflessness. We know that it must have been a difficult decision, but please
know that we will work each day to make sure that your child is the center of
our decisions as we work to help him/her become an intelligent, happy,
successful, loving adult.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our profile.
We feel like we were meant to be parents and can’t wait to get started. Please
consider being a part of our love story and it could mean a happy
ending for everyone involved.
Brandon and Krisie
