Dear courageous stranger,
Let us first introduce ourselves. I am Tim and this is my
amazing wife Brittany! We would like you to know that we admire your courage and
strength. We hope and pray for you and your baby’s health and well-being and
look forward to working together and getting to know you through this difficult
We met in 2006 when she was a senior in high school and I was
at my first duty station in the United States Navy. We had an undeniable
connection and love for one another right off the bat and married February 29th
2008 (on a leap year). We had hoped to have children right from the beginning,
but found out that wasn’t in the cards for us.
Tim is an officer in the United States Navy. He is also currently
attending college to earn his masters. Tim is a very dedicated person to
everything he sets his mind to. He is loving, compassionate, kind hearted and
level headed. He enjoys working out, exploring, sports and spending time with
family and friends.
Brittany is a certified veterinary technician. Due to our
recent military move, she has decided to stop working in the veterinary field
and prepare to be a stay-at-home mother. Brittany is a very loving and caring
person. There is nothing more important to her than family and making people
happy. Brittany enjoys anything with animals, painting, cooking, sports, and
spending time with family and friends.
We both come from very big families who can’t wait to see us
become parents. With Tim being in the military, we also have a huge what we
call “military family” who can’t wait to be a part of your baby’s life. Brittany
even has a great grandmother who is 92 who is so looking forward to being a
great-great-grandma soon. We also have two nieces and a nephew who are excited
for a new baby to play with.
Our home is very fun and loving. We find a way to make each
other laugh and smile each day and never go to bed without a good night kiss.
We eat a home cooked dinner every night and watch Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
We have two German shepherds who we refer to as “the boys.” Moose is 8 and
Rambo is 4. They are spoiled to no end and enrich our lives every day. Other
than warning us when someone is in the yard or coming to the door, they are the
biggest couch potatoes. Both love to play with our nieces and nephew and love
when they come to visit because they drop food on the floor for them.
We hope that this letter let you into our lives. We promise
that your child will be loved unconditionally in a happy, fun home. We hope
that you give us the opportunity to become parents and complete the missing
puzzle piece to our family.
Your friends, Tim, Brittany, Moose and Rambo
