While this may be the most difficult decision to consider, we promise
that your child will be loved unconditionally and your gift will be forever in
our hearts. It is our hope to capture
the joyful times of childhood and share those celebrations/successes with you.
both came from small loving families; Liza has one sister and Neil both a step-brother
and sister. Both of us were raised in
warm loving families and we consider our immediate family as a source of
support/guidance for “life experience.” Our
motivation in adopting a child is to provide the same love and stability that
we have been afforded throughout our lives.
Although we did not meet until later, we have a deep connection (born
just days apart) and believe we were destined for one another. Neil’s wedding ring reads, “Our love is tried
and true.” We have always stood together through all of life’s challenges. It is this support for one another that has
helped us champion through infertility.
live in Mid Coast Maine, which offers proximity to beaches, cities and
mountains. The opportunity to experience four distinct seasons means lots of
fun! We enjoy biking, golfing, hiking, kayaking, skiing, traveling and taking
our Boston terrier, George for walks. We thoroughly embrace the state’s slogan:
“The way life should be,” as often as possible. It is our hope to share this love for
adventure with your child.
is Assistant Director of Pharmacy in a long-term care pharmacy. Caring for the elderly is very dear to
him. He enjoys meeting residents in their
homes regularly. In sharing his knowledge to better the lives of others, he has
found a rewarding career. Liza has
changed careers from that in the corporate path to a non-profit, social work
entity. She embraces the rewarding
nature of this job. It has given her
exposure to children of all ages, and she plans to transition to being a stay-at-home
