Dear Special Someone,
We are a happy, friendly, loving couple who have been in love and best friends for 21 years. Your child would be raised in a home that is stable, fun, comfortable, and loving. We cannot wait to provide a fun life and a joyful, secure, loving, and nurturing home to your little one. We are choosing to adopt to grow our family and for our children to experience the life-long bond of having a sibling to love and rely on.
Sandra comes from a big family that includes seven siblings and Joe comes from a small family with just one sibling. Sandra is originally from the beautiful island of Trinidad and Tobago which is known for steel pans, carnival festivity, Caribbean dance (Limbo), gorgeous beaches, lush greenery, and musical styles. Sandra is a great mom. Jayden is being raised to respect others and have manners. She makes time to help him with homework and after school activities.
Joe is originally from Cajun country, known for Mardi Gras, unique Creole (a mix of Spanish, French, African and other) cuisine including Jambalaya, Gumbo, and boiled seafood. Joe is a great dad, providing for his family and having fun with Jayden. Joe is a pillar of strength, support, and joy. His work is time consuming, but he always makes time for his family.
We usually enjoy trips to Trinidad to visit Sandra’s family. When there we go to the gorgeous beaches and enjoy camping on the beach and fishing. It is always wonderful visiting Sandra’s family and spending quality family time together. They’re all very excited about the prospect of another child in the family and can’t wait to meet yours.
Every couple of years Sandra’s mom comes to visit us and since she loves the snow, we all enjoy a trip to New Mexico where we go skiing, tubing and sledding.
We cannot begin to imagine what you are going through, and we admire your courage and strength! We appreciate your consideration of us. Jayden is so excited to be a big brother and can’t wait meet his sibling. Jayden helped build his tree house and can’t wait to share special times there with his brother or sister.
Sincerely,
Joe, Sandra, and Jayden
We are choosing to adopt to grow our family and for our children to experience the life-long bond of having a sibling to love and rely on. We are so thankful for Jayden and can’t wait for our new little one to join our family! Jayden’s adoption was very special, and we learned to be patient knowing that everything happens at the right time.
Sandra and I met in Trinidad W.I. when I was working overseas. I look forward to seeing Sandra every day after work and waking up with her in the morning. We love spending weekends together fishing, crabbing, swimming, biking, and any other outdoor activities. Our vacations entail traveling in the US and back to Trinidad to visit Sandra’s family. I love Sandra’s smile and bubbly personality. We do everything together and can’t wait to have another child to join our loving family! Sandra is a great mom who loves spending time with Jayden helping him with homework and working with him in everyday activities.
Joe is the most loving husband. He is down to earth, caring, patient and kind. He has a great sense of humor and loves being outdoors. I look forward waking up with Joe every morning. On weekends, he loves to barbecue and enjoys doing any activities outdoors. Joe enjoys spending time with Jayden. They swim, ride bikes, play fights, and work on various projects like building STEM robots, busses and trains.
Jayden (JJ) is a sweet, loving, little boy. He is very caring and smart. He is in French Immersion at school and is at the top of his class. He graduated from kindergarten in 2021. Our son is very interested in the human body and wants to be a doctor when he grows up. JJ loves reading, swimming and being outdoors with us. He plays baseball, soccer and has a great sense of humor. He loves his toys; especially his train set. He is super excited to become a big brother!!
We are a fun-loving family who likes to live life to the fullest. We love the outdoors and enjoy all the fun things that come along with it. On weekends during the summer, we like cooking outside, picnics, camping, fishing/crabbing, visiting the zoo, and enjoying our swimming pool. For summer vacation, we go to the beaches on the gulf coast. During the winter, we like to sit by the fire and enjoy family time at home and take skiing trips to the mountains. On a 3-day-weekend, we love to go camping if the weather is nice. Other times we will stay home and invite our family to spend the weekend with us to hang out by the pool and work in the garden. We love to go fishing and crabbing and enjoying the catch afterwards by having a fish fry and crab boil. We also like to go to New Orleans for the weekend to visit the zoo and aquarium.
Our home is very welcoming, cozy, and cheerful! The house sits on 2 acres in the country with large yards in the front and back that are perfect for games, running and playing. Our backyard is partially fenced in and is full of fruit trees, oak trees, plenty of flowers, a vegetable garden, and chickens. Our home is in a safe neighborhood to raise a family.

Jayden’s birth mother chose to have a closed relationship. We respect her decision and we have a ton of pictures to share with her if she changes her mind in the future.
We will always be grateful for your brave decision and you will forever be in our thoughts and prayers. We understand that this is the most important decision in your life, and we will always be here for you. We will always respect whatever decision you make, whether it be open or closed adoption or if it changes over time.
Our house is centrally located between Joe’s families. This makes it ideal for family gathering during the holidays and weekends throughout the year. When we’re together, there is an abundance of laughter, great conversation, and family time. Our friends love coming over to spend time with us. JJ loves having friends over to play games outdoors.
We are a multicultural family who come from different backgrounds. Sandra is Hindu and Joe is Catholic, so we celebrate our respective traditions as a family and Jayden is exposed to both cultures. An example would be Diwali, which is a Hindu Festival of Lights. Diwali is the biggest festival of Indians and all those who love Indian culture. Spiritually it signifies the “victory of light over darkness.” During Diwali celebration, we light rows of Diyas which are small clay pots filled with oil and a wick that is lit and displayed in different designs. Traditional Indian food and treats prepared by Sandra are enjoyed by all. We love participating as a family in this celebration.
We also embrace the traditional American holidays. For Thanksgiving, we prepare a feast and have friends and family over. Easter and Christmas are special occasions as a family.
As we are a culturally diverse family, we are very accepting of other cultures. We will celebrate your child’s heritage and help them connect with their roots and culture.
We promise to provide a loving environment for your child. We promise to be the best parents possible. We promise to love your child and raise them to be kind, happy and strong. In addition, we will always portray you in the most positive light for the sacrifices you made and for placing your child’s interest above all. We want you to be a part of your child’s life so that he or she can have an understanding and appreciation for the tremendous sacrifice that you made from love. Your child will always know where he or she came from and how much you love him or her.
