We’re excited to grow our family through adoption again! Since we’re not able to have biological children, adoption has become the path that’s brought us the greatest joy. Adopting Alexa has been one of the most meaningful experiences of our lives—a truly beautiful journey. We’re so grateful for the chance to continue that journey, and we can’t wait to give Alexa a sibling.
Life in our home is full of fun, love, and laughter. We have a daughter and are so excited to grow our family again through adoption. With summer just around the corner, we’re getting our yard ready for bike rides, pool days, and outdoor adventures. We love being active and making memories together, whether that’s a game night, a family walk, or a spontaneous trip to the ice cream shop.
We dream of going to Disney World, we love reading, and you can often find us outside enjoying nature. One thing people are often surprised to learn about us—we’re goofy, quirky, and love joking around with each other!
What I love most about Ashley is how fun she is to be around. She’s loving, caring, and incredibly compassionate. She works as a para educator for kids with special needs at a local middle school, and she brings so much patience and understanding to her work. Ashley has a natural way with children—whether she’s helping students at school, coaching in the unified sports program, or being the amazing mom she is to our daughter. She puts her heart into everything she does, and it shows.
One of the things I love most about Corey is his fun and quirky side—he’s just a joy to be around. He’s a wonderful person and an incredible dad. From the moment we met our daughter, he had an instant connection with her—it was truly beautiful to see. Corey is one of the hardest-working people I know, and he’ll do whatever it takes to support our family. He’s also extremely patient with children, always taking the time to listen, play, and create fun moments with them.
We live in Bristol, Connecticut, in a peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood full of kids. Ashley has lived here all her life, and Corey has been here for the last 10 years. We love the changing seasons—especially the crisp, colorful fall—and enjoy local gems like Lake Compounce, a family amusement park that’s been around since 1846. We can’t wait to share these special places and moments with your child.
Our daughter Alexa is 8 years old and was adopted from foster care in 2022 after being with us since 2021. She’s full of personality and has come such a long way! She’s already excited to be a big sister and can’t wait to introduce a new sibling to her friends and share playtime. Her adoption story is part of who she is, and we’ll always talk openly and lovingly about it.
Our family is close-knit and supportive. Ashley’s parents and brother are very involved and love spending time with Alexa. Corey’s mom helps out too, and although his brother lives out of state, we stay in touch. We feel lucky to have a loving village behind us, ready to welcome another child with open arms.
Since adopting our daughter, there hasn’t been any ongoing contact with her birth mother, as she chose not to sign an open adoption agreement. There was one brief Zoom call while the birth mother was incarcerated, which was an emotionally difficult experience for our daughter. That was the only time they connected before the adoption was finalized. Although we were open to ongoing connection, it wasn’t something the birthmother pursued. The birth mother has since passed away, and we hold space in our hearts for the role she played in bringing Alexa into the world and into our lives.
We have two pets—Katara, our sweet dog, and Groot, our fun-loving bearded dragon! They bring lots of joy to our home.
We promise to raise your child in a home filled with love, honesty, and compassion. We value kindness, family time, and making space for everyone to be themselves. Whether it’s curling up with a book, going on bike rides, or creating silly traditions, your child will be surrounded by joy, encouragement, and respect.
Thank you for considering us in such a deeply meaningful decision. We promise to raise your child with all the love, support, and care we have to give. If you feel a connection with us, we’d love to hear from you—we’re a fun, loving family excited to grow. Thank you again for your trust. We’re ready to give your child a life full of love and adventure, and we’ll always honor the incredible role you play in their story.
