Mary Rike – Adoption Advisor

I’m Mary Rike, and I’ve been an Adoption Advisor at Adoption Network since 2008. I truly love what I do. I speak with expectant parents to understand what matters to them and what they hope for in an adoptive family, and I speak with adoptive families to be sure the opportunity feels right for them. Before bringing them together, I coordinate with the agencies and attorneys in both states to confirm the match is legally compatible and everyone understands each other’s wishes.

I’m also a mom of five grown children. Three of them grew in my heart, though I forget which three. Every person’s situation is unique, and I want both expectant parents and adoptive families to feel comfortable, cared for, and supported. Adoption is a lifelong journey that brings together people whose lives may never have crossed otherwise, and I feel truly blessed to be part of the beginning of that journey.
