Dear Expectant Mother,
We can’t begin to understand how hard this is for you, but we want to you to know that we are beyond grateful that you are considering adoption and are completely in awe at your strength to do this.
We have always wanted children, but found out early in our marriage that having biological children would be difficult. We were so blessed with the birth of our son, Tyler, in 2012. Now we are anxious to grow our family again. He wants a little brother or sister so much, and we believe adoption is the best choice.
Life with your child would be so much fun, and would include joining in our family traditions like Allison’s extended family celebrating the 4th of July every year together, taking both of them to the St. Pat’s Day parade, and going to a tractor pull/antique celebration that we have gone to every year in September since we started dating. We also like to go out to dinner as a family once a week.
We enjoy spending time with our family whether it’s just getting together to share a meal, play dominoes or attend sporting events for our nieces and nephews. These family outings keep us close and would ensure that your child is surrounded by a loving family.
Troy works at a manufacturing facility that builds power washers and shop vacs. Allison works in the pathology department of a lab and does the billing for the doctors. We both work the day shift, but are lucky that the daycare is located right down the hallway from Allison’s office. She will be able to spend time throughout the day with your child. Our mothers both live close and are also excited to help out and provide care as well.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. We hope you get a glimpse of how important family is to us and how grateful we are at the chance to parent your child.
Troy & Allison
We are pretty laid back and like to do things close to home like small day trips, going out to eat and just spending time with family and friends.
To be hardworking, honest and caring.
We will be honest with our child and share any/all information you are comfortable with. We will make sure they understand how loved they are by all involved.
Having a child is a huge blessing and especially having a sibling for Tyler would be so rewarding.
For spring break this past year we took Tyler to a tractor museum and a zoo, then stayed overnight in a hotel with a pool for Tyler to play in.
We will both return to work but there is a daycare in the same building where Allison works, so we will be able to spend time during the day with your child.
We will think about how strong and thoughtful and loving you are to have made this hard decision not only for you and your child but for us as well.
