We can only imagine the strength and love it takes to consider adoption, and we want you to know how deeply we respect and admire your courage in this journey. Adoption is not a second choice for us, it is a meaningful path we have chosen with open hearts.

We have a strong desire to be parents and have our own family. We know we can provide a loving, stable and nurturing home. Our journey has taught us that family is not solely defined by biology, but by commitment, love, and the shared bonds we create. We are couple full of love, laughter, and dreams, hoping to grow our family through adoption. While we have not met personally, please know that we already care about you and your child more than words can express.

We want to raise a child who knows they are deeply loved—not just by us, but by you, their first mother. We believe in honesty, openness, and celebrating where a child comes from. Your story will always be honored in our home. If you’re open to it, we would love to share letters, photos, and even visits. But we’re also completely respectful of whatever level of contact you feel most comfortable with.

We know that we do not have all the answers or the physical experience of parenthood just yet, but we promise to lead with love, patience, and compassion every single day. If you choose us, we’ll pour our hearts into being the best parents we can be—supportive, nurturing, fun, and fiercely devoted.

Why We Are Choosing to Adopt

We have a strong desire to be parents and have our own family. We know we can provide a loving, stable and nurturing home. We believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and supported, and we are ready to offer that unconditionally. We are ready to start creating family traditions and filling our home with more love. Adoption is not a second choice for us, it is a meaningful path we have chosen with open hearts. We are excited to have the opportunity to start growing our family through adoption and to embrace the unique joys and challenges it brings.

Lifestyle

Together, we own and run a property management business, a venture that has not only allowed us to grow as entrepreneurs but has also strengthened our bond as a couple. Working side by side has taught us how to communicate better, support each other’s strengths, and celebrate the wins—big and small—together. Outside of work, we love spending quality time on simple joys like taking walks through our neighborhood, going on coffee shop dates, catching the latest movies and sharing a big bucket of popcorn, traveling to new places, and staying in to cook or tackle home projects. Real estate has become a shared passion of ours—not just as a business, but as a path to building a lasting legacy. Choosing this entrepreneurial journey over traditional jobs has given us the freedom to shape our future, work toward long-term goals, and create a life rooted in purpose, love, and teamwork. We share a deeply fulfilling lifestyle built around both our personal and professional partnership. We are fortunate that we can do what we do together, especially during the good, bad and ugly at times. We can really rely on one another and know we are making the right choices for the future we are building.

We enjoy being active, we are football fans, traveling, real estate investing are a few hobbies/interests of ours that we share together. We like trying new things too as a couple like golfing, tennis, new restaurants to name a few.

We have a goal to have a second home in Northern Michigan, ideally on a lake or lake view. We would love to travel the world and share that with a child. We would love to share different cultures and experience with a child across the globe!

About Lindsay by Robert

Some of the things that I love about Lindsay are that she is a very loving, caring person and is sensitive to other people and their feelings.

She has a huge heart and loves to get people together to raise money for things such as backpack drives for kids going back to school and charity walks to cure breast cancer.

I see how she interacts with our niece and nephews, as well as our friends children, and I have no doubt that she is going to be a great mom.

I admire Lindsay in how she interacts with people. She is a natural born leader and she teaches me to be a better version of myself each day.

She loves fresh flowers and dark chocolate but don’t tell her I told you.

About Robert by Lindsay

Robert is great at doing everything and anything for me without hesitation. From bringing me lemon water every morning, prepping our daily smoothies, making sure my car has gas, picking up the groceries, house projects and on and on. Basically most things I do not want to do, he does without thinking about it. Robert has a ‘just do it, whatever it takes’ attitude to get stuff done which I have always admired in him. He is willing to work on being a better version of himself in our relationship which has helped us grow as a couple over the years. Robert and I clicked immediately, we met randomly and have been together almost every day for the last 11 years.

He is a really fun uncle to our niece and nephews. He was very gentle when they were infants and now very active with them as they are all approaching their early teenage years. Robert is always looking for new things to learn, looking to be active vs. stagnant and continuing to create the life we want to live on our terms.

Our Home

We live in southeast Michigan, a suburb outside of Detroit.

We just finished a year and half renovation on our forever home. It was built in 1930 and we love all the character we were able to mix new with old. We updated everything in the home so it’s like new while keeping a lot of original charm and character.

What we love about the home is the neighborhood. We love to walk the neighborhood and appreciate the beautiful homes and landscapes that the neighborhood offers. We constantly say to one another “I cannot believe we live here”.

We enjoy living where we have all four seasons especially the long warm summer nights. It is still light at 9:30pm during the summer, which makes being outside that much more enjoyable.

We are lucky to be a few hours from Northern Michigan where we like to visit during all seasons too and enjoying activities like snow shoeing in the winter, bike rides in the spring, kayaking in the summer and enjoying changing leaves and cider donuts in the fall.

Our Family

We each have one sibling who have made us Aunt Lindsay and Uncle Robert to a niece and two nephews. Our nieces and nephews are very involved in sports and we enjoy to watch them play any chance we have. Our families also share the love of football and we all have different teams to root for, so during the fall we will watch games together or even travel to see a game.

We all like to BBQ and hang outside together as soon as weather permits!

We both have large extended families with lots of aunts, uncles and cousins. Everyone from our nuclear to extended family are in full support of us growing our family and willing to lend a helping hand and plenty of advice!

We each have an adoption in our families too. Robert’s dad was adopted from Italy as an infant and Lindsay has a great extended grandfather who was adopted as a child also.

Foundations for Family

We are excited about sharing everyday moments—reading bedtime stories, celebrating holidays, and creating family traditions. Some of the things that we believe to be important are:

• Teaching your child the difference between right and wrong
• Getting outside and playing!
• Doing well in school
• Understanding the importance of having a great attitude and problem solving
• Learning how to be kind, respectful and how to share with others
• Encourage making friends and trying new things
• Traveling the world and experiencing different cultures
• Be courageous even if that means failure & that is OK to fail

Traditions

• We pick out a live Christmas tree every year the day after Thanksgiving to kick off the Christmas spirit. We take in the annual concert showing of Home Alone and Detroit Symphony Orchestra each year. Coming from an Italian family, Lindsay makes her Nana’s lasagna for all holidays. We also kick off holiday mornings with cinnamon rolls.
• We ring in the New Year with a tradition of pork and sauerkraut for good luck just like Lindsay’s family does each year.
• We travel to visit family a couple times a year, to celebrate birthdays and such between the west and east coasts.
• When we travel, we always pick up a new Christmas ornament for the tree. We love unpacking the ornaments each year and remembering our travels togethers.
• We also make it a point to set goals at the start of each year, create game plans to accomplish our works, make vision boards and check in on them quarterly.

We are looking forward to sharing and creating our own family traditions as we grow our family!
