We can only imagine all the emotions you’re feeling right now, and we have so much respect for the courage and love you are showing your child. We understand this is an incredible act of love, and we don’t take that lightly.

As two pet dads, we’ve learned family is built through love, honesty, and connection. We hope to bring that same spirit to our relationship with your baby. We’re open to limited-to-no contact, depending upon what feels right to you — whether that’s sharing photos, updates, letters, or nothing at all. Above all, we want what’s best for you and your baby.

When we talk about you with your child, we will always express love and gratitude. From day one, they’ll know their story began with your strength and your love. They’ll grow up knowing they have two dads who adore them and a birth mom who made an incredibly selfless decision to give them the best possible life.

Why We are Choosing to Adopt

We have always dreamed of becoming fathers and creating a home filled with love, laughter, and acceptance. To us, family is built on connection, care, and shared values — not just biology. After thoughtful reflection and open conversations about how we wanted to grow our family, adoption felt like the most natural and meaningful path. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to be part of this journey and to open our hearts to a child who will be cherished unconditionally.

We are beyond excited to take this next step and become parents together. Our home is full of warmth, stability, and joy, and we can’t wait to share our lives with a child, including celebrating milestones, nurturing dreams, and creating lasting memories. Lifestyle

We met in Georgia the day after Christmas 2013. We brought our lives to sunny Florida in the Spring 2021, and we’ve loved every minute of it. Our weekends are usually spent gardening, antiquing, and playing at the beach, either boogie-boarding, hunting for shells, or relaxing with a good book under a tent. We can’t wait to share this love of sand, sun, and waves with your baby, building sandcastles and making beach memories together. We also enjoy quick weekend getaways to Disney or Universal Studios. Our favorite park (EPCOT) has so much to teach a young mind.

We’re also part of a fun, family-friendly trivia league. Our friends have become like family, and we can’t wait for your child to join the weekly games, laughter, and love that come with it.

Travel is another big part of our lives. From quick Florida getaways to overseas adventures in our favorite cities like Barcelona, we’re excited to show your baby the world, explore new cultures, and inspire curiosity and wonder every step of the way.

Fun Facts!

• We both come from big, blended families — Bobby is the youngest of five and Michael is the oldest of seven including two adopted sisters from Vietnam and a brother and sister from Ethiopia.
• Family and connection have always been at the heart of our lives, and we love bringing that same warmth into our home.
• We also share a love for home improvement, tackling projects together and making our house a cozy, welcoming space — the kind of home we can’t wait to share with a child.

About Bobby by Michael

Bobby grew up just outside Charlotte, NC, in a loving and supportive home as the youngest of five. His fun-loving nature (and legendary dad-jokes) are matched by his warmth, compassion, and generosity toward everyone he meets. Those beautiful green eyes that first captured my heart sparkle when he talks about his passions: sports (football and college basketball are his favorites), our fur babies, or his family. He’s especially excited to share his love of sports with your baby, cheering them on from the sidelines at every game.

Bobby’s work ethic is equally impressive. He’s grown to become one of the top leaders at his insurance company, leading with compassion, trust, and understanding… all while keeping family as his top priority. That balance of ambition, heart, and dedication is exactly what he’ll bring to raising a child, ensuring they always feel loved, supported, and celebrated.

About Michael by Bobby

Michael is smart, funny, and full of heart. As Dean of Students, he gets to spend his days interacting with children, helping them grow, and making school a place where they feel supported and valued. He loves our three Pomeranians like they’re his own kids and treats every moment with them as an adventure.

Michael comes from a large, loving family that includes both biological and adopted children from multi-racial backgrounds. He brings that same warmth, inclusivity, and joy to our home. Outside of work, he’s passionate about the Olympics, soaking up the sun at the beach, admiring beautiful architecture, watching historical TV shows, and tending to his garden.

Simply put, Michael’s curiosity, humor, and caring nature make him an incredible dad and partner. And he can’t wait to share that love with a little one.

Our Home

We live near the beach in beautiful Florida, where the white sand and green waters make every day feel like a vacation. Our love of the beach, the historic community, and a slower pace of life brought us here in 2021, and we haven’t looked back. We built a home we love and can’t wait to fill it with your baby’s laughter and footsteps.

We have a spacious home with lots of room to play and relax. Our favorite spots are the lanai and backyard, which is perfect for a jungle gym, playtime, and endless summer fun. Summers are long and sunny, and we love catching both sunrise and sunset from our yard. Cooler months are magical too, with palm trees decked in lights and St. Augustine’s annual Festival of Lights downtown. Historic St. Augustine offers traditions and memories we can’t wait to share with your child.

We will be loving, supportive, and present parents, creating a home filled with laughter, encouragement, and acceptance. We will guide your child with patience and empathy, helping them grow into a confident and compassionate person who knows they are deeply loved.

We will celebrate their individuality and nurture their interests. Our home will be a loving, safe, joyful place where they feel seen, heard, and celebrated.

Our Family

Family and friends are very important to us and play a big role in our lives. Michael comes from a large, loving, and diverse family, including both biological and adoptive siblings from Vietnam and Ethiopia. Growing up in this blended family shaped his understanding of love, inclusion, and celebrating different backgrounds, values we hope to share with your child.

We have close friends in both Georgia and Florida who have become our chosen family. They are supportive, caring, and excited to welcome a child into our lives.

Bobby keeps in touch with his family and values meaningful connections, bringing the same thoughtfulness and care to friendships and family relationships. Together, our extended family and friends create a network of love and support that we look forward to sharing with your child.

Our Pets

We have three beautiful and goofy Pomeranians (Chanel, Max, and Chloe) who fill our home with laughter and joy every day. Chanel (16) is wise, and Max and Chloe (both 6) have endless energy (the zoomies will make you laugh until you cry!). Our fur babies live the spoiled life, from sleeping on the bed to hundreds of toys scattered around the house, and we love every minute of it. We can’t wait to introduce your child to our playful, loving pups and share the joy they bring to our family.

Traditions

Family and traditions are at the heart of our lives, and we love creating moments that bring everyone together. Every year, we celebrate Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas surrounded by family and friends, sharing laughter, stories, and delicious meals. Christmas Eve is always extra special — we exchange family-themed pajamas and love seeing everyone cozy and matching as we kick off the holiday together. We also enjoy decorating our home inside and out for every season, making each holiday and change of season feel festive and full of warmth.

Barbecues are another favorite tradition of ours. Whether it’s grilling in the backyard or gathering at the beach, we cherish these moments of connection, good food, and laughter. Spending time at the beach is a big part of our family life. We love building sandcastles, hunting for shells, or just soaking in the sun together.

We also enjoy playful traditions like Secret Santa gift exchanges, which bring out creativity, fun, and a little friendly competition. These moments, big and small, are what make our family life full of love, joy, and shared memories. We can’t wait to create similar traditions with your child.
