From Us to You

If we are given the opportunity to adopt your baby, we will provide all the love and support every child deserves. Our parents have shown us what it means to love unconditionally. They have also shown us what it takes to raise children into successful adults. Their love and support throughout our lives will guide us through our journey of parenthood. The child would always come first in every decision we made. They would never question our love for and dedication to them.

We promise to raise them in a home filled with love and fun! Our home is our happy place, and we are ready to share it with your baby. Your baby will always know how much they mean to us and how proud we are of them.

Not only will we forever be proud of this baby, we also want this baby to be proud of themselves and how they became part of our family. When the time is right, we will tell them our story and the journey that led us to finding them. We will forever be grateful for your love, bravery and strength. Choosing this path for your baby is an extremely selfless act and could not have been an easy decision.

Why We Are Choosing to Adopt

Having children has always been a dream for us. We were unable to conceive naturally, so we sought out the help of a fertility clinic here in Savannah. After speaking with the doctor, IVF was the path we chose. Unfortunately, both attempts were unsuccessful. We had one embryo left, and our best friend offered to be a gestational carrier for us. She and her husband have 2 biological children, so we felt confident this would be the blessing we had been waiting on. Sadly, that did not turn into a viable pregnancy either. All of this left us feeling defeated and heartbroken.

After endless conversations and prayer, we have decided that adoption is the next step in our journey to parenthood. We are looking forward to adding a little one to our family. We are ready to share our love with your baby.

Lifestyle

We spend a lot of time at home with our 3 dogs, Gunner, Kettie and Penny. Throwing the frisbee in the backyard is one of their favorite things. We know our pups would welcome a baby! They love when our friends’ children come over.

We enjoy having friends and family over to our home. Chris spends most Sunday afternoons grilling on the back patio. We have Sunday dinners with our closest friends and their children. We can see your child enjoying those Sunday afternoons with us.

During the Summer we spend a lot of time at Chris’ mom’s pool, which is very near to our home. Your baby will surely grow to love the pool as much as we do!

Football is a big part of our lives during the fall. You can find us in Athens, GA cheering on the Dawgs for at least one game a season. Otherwise, we are watching the game on TV with friends. We are excited to see your baby game day ready dressed in red and black!

Christmas is our (mainly Caroline’s) favorite holiday which is evident by the decorations spread throughout the house. We are excited to celebrate with a baby and can’t wait to experience Christmas through their eyes.

About Caroline by Chris

Caroline has a passion for planting, especially flowers during the spring and summer. She loves to have plants on display on the back patio. You can often find her at Home Depot or Lowe’s browsing their plant section.

About Chris by Caroline

Chris’s favorite hobby is golfing. He is a member at a local course and plays most weekends. Both his father and step-father shared a love for the game as well. Chris spent many days golfing with both of them before they passed away. He is looking forward to continuing this tradition with a child.

Our Home

We are lucky to live in the historic city of Savannah, GA. There are so many sites to see downtown along the river front, which is just a short drive away from our home. Forsyth Park in downtown Savannah will always be a special place for us. We got engaged there in September of 2020. We also love going to Plant Riverside downtown. Tybee Island, also nearby, hosts a beach filled with shops and restaurants.

Our Family

With both of us native to the Savannah area, we are blessed to have a large extended family nearby.

Chris has a biological sister, and we each have step siblings.

In addition, Chris loves to spend time with his cousins and maintains close ties with his paternal uncles, whom he adores. Caroline has a close relationship with her cousins as well. Each year they take trips together. Whether they are shopping, going out to eat, or just sitting around, she looks forward to this special time spent with family.

We are both fortunate enough to have lifelong friends who are like family to us. They have been the best support system throughout our journey to become parents. They are all looking forward to adding a new little one to the already large group of children in our circle.

Family Traditions

Many of our family traditions revolve around the holidays, and we look forward to sharing these with your baby.

Every Halloween we go to Chris’ mom’s house. She cooks chili, and we all hand out candy. A lot of our friends bring their children to see us. Dressing your baby up and trick-or-treating is something we are looking forward to!

We spend December 23rd (Christmas Eve Eve) with Caroline’s family every year.The entire family is there, over 50 people! We play games and enjoy spending the holiday with each other.

Each summer we go on an annual beach vacation to Florida. We cannot wait to have a baby with us to show them how much we love this vacation!

On New Year’s Eve, we go to our best friend’s family’s house. There are lots of people there and kids of all ages. We are excited to be able to bring a baby with us!

Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day is something we look forward to every year. We can’t wait to see your baby dressed in their best St. Paddy’s green watching the parade with us!

Meet Our Pets

Gunner is the old man of the family. He is our easy-going 11 year old yellow lab.

Kettie is our golden retriever and she is a daddy’s girl.

Penny is the live wire of the bunch. She is our 9 month old golden doodle.

Jasmine is our Hemingway Cat – she has 27 toes!

They keep us busy but bring so much joy to our lives!

On Education

Education is very important to both of us. We were fortunate enough to attend private schools. We plan to provide the same educational opportunities that were given to us.
