Our names are Denisa and Anand, and we are truly grateful that you are taking the time to get to know us. Adoption has been close to our hearts since early in our relationship. From the beginning, we talked about adoption as a beautiful and meaningful way to grow our family. To us, family is not only built by biology, but by love, commitment, and the choice to show up every single day. We have built a life full of love, stability, family traditions, and support, and one of our greatest hopes is to share that life with a child.

Why We Are Choosing to Adopt

Adoption has been on our hearts since the early days of our relationship. Even before we were married, we talked about the kind of family we hoped to build one day, and adoption was always a beautiful part of that dream. For us, becoming parents is not about sharing DNA, but about showing up every day with patience, commitment, guidance, and a whole heart.

We have built a life that we are truly excited to share with a child — a home filled with family traditions, travel, curiosity, faith, culture, and the simple joys of everyday life. We imagine bedtime stories, birthday candles, exploring new places, cheering from the sidelines, answering big questions, and watching a child discover their own personality, talents, and dreams.

We are grateful to be on this path and feel ready for the responsibility and joy of parenthood. Our desire to adopt comes from a deep place of love and purpose, and we look forward to providing a child not only a home, but a strong foundation, a close family, and a life filled with meaningful experiences.

Our Relationship with Our Future Child’s Birth Mother

We will always speak about our child’s birth mother with love, gratitude, and respect. From the beginning, our child will know that adoption is a beautiful part of their story and that they are deeply loved by many people. We will make sure they understand the important role their birth mother holds in their life and encourage open, honest conversations as they grow.

Our Role As Parents

We hope to be the kind of parents who show up fully — in the joyful moments, the hard days, and everything in between. We want to listen closely, guide with patience, teach kindness through example, and give a child room to grow into their own personality, interests, and dreams. More than anything, we want them to feel steady roots beneath them and the freedom to become who they are meant to be.

Lifestyle

We have built a life centered around love, family, curiosity, and shared experiences. Some of our happiest moments are simple ones—walking Bailey through the neighborhood, cooking dinner together at home, watching a movie, or spending time with family. We also love adventure, whether that means trying a new restaurant nearby or traveling across the world and exploring the little hidden places that make each destination special, like wandering through the side streets of Tokyo to find a cozy izakaya.

We are both naturally curious and love learning about different cultures, foods, history, art, and the world around us. We look forward to sharing that sense of wonder with a child, encouraging them to ask questions, explore new places, try new things, and discover what excites them.

Life with us will be full of family traditions, birthday celebrations, vacations, bedtime stories, kitchen dance parties, walks with Bailey, and everyday moments that turn into treasured memories. Most importantly, your child would grow up surrounded by kindness, encouragement, and a strong sense of belonging.

Denisa has a creative spirit and brings beauty and joy into everyday life. She loves fashion, design, travel, great food, coffee, and the little details that make moments feel special. Whether we are exploring a new city, taking Bailey for a walk, or spending a quiet evening at home, she has a way of making ordinary days feel meaningful. When I picture Denisa as a mother, I see someone loving, patient, and completely devoted. About Anand by Denisa

One of the things I love most about Anand is the way he makes people feel comfortable and cared for. He is thoughtful, steady, and always willing to help, whether it is supporting family, checking in on someone he loves, or making sure the people around him feel included.

Anand has such a curious mind, and I love that about him. He can get excited talking about cars, technology, travel, history, watches, or a great restaurant he wants us to try. Some of my favorite moments with him are the simple conversations we have about the world, where we start with one topic and end up learning something completely new together.

When I picture Anand as a father, I see someone patient, present, and deeply devoted. I know he will be the dad who teaches, listens, encourages big dreams, and celebrates every little milestone. Most of all, I know he will love our child with his whole heart and help create a life filled with warmth, curiosity, and meaningful memories.

Our Home

We live in a beautiful, welcoming Tennessee community that offers a wonderful place to raise a child. When we built our home, we chose this area thoughtfully because of its excellent schools, peaceful surroundings, and family-friendly atmosphere.

Our home is a place where we enjoy cooking together, spending time with Bailey, celebrating special occasions, and gathering with the people we love. We are excited to fill it with even more joy, traditions, and everyday moments as our family grows.

We are also part of a nearby country club, one of the oldest and most respected golf clubs in Tennessee, which offers a pool, family events, and activities for children and parents. We love that our community gives us access to hiking trails, outdoor adventures, and Nashville’s vibrant music scene, and we look forward to sharing all of these experiences with a child.

Our Family

Our extended family is joyful, welcoming, and full of personality. Time together often means shared meals, birthdays, holidays, stories around the table, and the kind of simple moments that make everyone feel included.

We are grateful that our family brings together Romanian and Indian traditions, along with Mexican traditions through extended family, giving us many beautiful traditions, foods, and celebrations to share. We enjoy visiting relatives in India and Romania, spending time with cousins and nephews, and gathering with Denisa’s brother and family, Anand’s sister and family, and our extended loved ones for special occasions throughout the year.

Beyond relatives, we also have close friends who feel like part of our family. A child in our lives would be welcomed into a caring village of people who are ready to cheer them on, show up for them, and help create a childhood filled with connection, culture, and meaningful memories.

Traditions

The moments we treasure most are the ones that bring people together. In our family, that often looks like holidays filled with good food, birthdays celebrated in a big way, time in the kitchen, long walks with Bailey, and evenings spent around the table sharing stories and laughter.

We love celebrating the cultures that are part of our lives, including Romanian, Indian, and Mexican traditions through our extended family. We look forward to sharing special foods, holidays, music, travel, and meaningful customs with a child, while also creating new traditions that are uniquely our own.

Birthdays are especially important to us because we love making the people in our lives feel seen and celebrated. Whether it is a favorite meal, a thoughtful surprise, or gathering with the people we love, we enjoy turning milestones into memories. We cannot wait to include a child in these moments and experience the joy of seeing holidays, birthdays, and everyday family rituals through their eyes.

If our future child’s cultural background is different from ours, we will make it a priority to learn, honor, and celebrate that part of their story. We want them to grow up with a strong sense of identity, connection, and pride in every part of who they are.

Our Dog

Bailey is such a special part of our family, and she brings so much joy to our everyday life. She loves all animals and gets so excited when she sees them on TV or meets a new furry friend. She is playful, sweet, and always ready for attention, treats, or a game of catch. Bailey also loves children and enjoys playing with other dogs. She keeps us laughing with her silly personality and has a way of making our home feel even warmer. We can already picture a child growing up with Bailey by their side.
