From Me to You

Hi there,

I know you’re reading a lot of profiles right now, and I’m truly grateful you’re here. I don’t take this lightly, and I’m honored to have the chance to share a little about myself with you, so you can get a sense of who I am and the kind of home I hope to offer your child.

I’ve learned over time that the plans I once had for my life haven’t unfolded the way I expected, but I’ve watched God lead me into something better than I could have imagined. While my journey to motherhood looks a little different as a single woman, I am blessed with an incredible village of people who love and support me well.

I have always wanted to be a mom, and through friends’ adoption journeys and serving alongside adoptive families, I’ve seen how adoption can be a safe and loving place where a child can grow and thrive while still being connected to where they come from. My hope is also to honor you in this process and to give you peace of mind that your child is deeply loved and cared for.

What that love would look like in everyday life is movie nights on the couch with blankets everywhere, time outside riding bikes, baking together in the kitchen, and a home filled with laughter in the middle of ordinary days. I am surrounded by family, friends, and a church community who are excited to welcome a child with open arms and to love and support them as they grow.

As a Christian, my faith shapes how I love and care for others. I believe every child is deeply valued and created with purpose, and it would be one of the greatest privileges of my life to raise and love a child.

Why I'm Choosing to Adopt

Becoming a mother has always been a deep desire of mine, but the path to get here hasn’t been a quick or simple decision. Over the last several years, a tremendous amount of prayer and seeking wisdom has gone into this process. There are so many ways to become a parent, and even within adoption, so many directions to take. Ultimately, I felt a clear, intentional calling toward domestic infant adoption.

For me, this choice is rooted in both a desire to build a family and a desire to support a mom in need. When I think about a mother facing the unimaginably difficult situation of finding a secure family, a provider, and a protector for her child, my heart truly goes out to her. While I deeply want to raise a child, I also want to step into this space to be a source of support and peace for her.

To me, becoming a parent means being a steady, lifelong anchor for a child, but it also means being there for the beautiful, ordinary noise of everyday life. It means a home filled with kitchen baking sessions, bike rides outside, and movie nights buried under a mountain of blankets.

It means showing up to guide them with faith and patience through life’s big milestones, while making sure they know they are completely safe, valued, and unconditionally loved in the quiet moments in between.

I don’t take this journey lightly, and I am committed to raising a child in a home like this while always honoring their birth mother with genuine care and deep gratitude.

My Life & A Normal Week

My life is really anchored by my faith and the people around me. Every Sunday, I lead our church’s AV and tech team, organizing volunteers and running the livestream to help create a welcoming worship experience. During the week, much of my community comes from a couple of Bible studies, the women in those groups are my absolute rock. They show up for me constantly, keep me grounded, and are already so excited to wrap their arms around a child.

For work, I’m with a fundraising agency where I help nonprofits make the world a better place. I have the privilege of working from home most days, and even when I go into the office, the environment is casual and incredibly supportive of family life.

When the weekend rolls around, I’m usually surrounded by the people I love. You can typically find me hanging out with my nieces and nephews, cheering on friends’ kids at their games, enjoying a lazy Saturday at home, or taking a quick road trip to visit friends. A normal week here is simple but full of purpose, quiet walks, and a whole village of people ready to love a child.

My Home

In January 2026, I bought my first house with a clear purpose in mind: to create a safe, cozy, and loving home for my future family.

My neighborhood is quiet and full of life. Right by my house is a small walking loop with a splash pad, a short, thirty-minute stroll that I love taking to clear my head, think, and talk to God.

In the summer, it’s always buzzing with families, kids riding bikes, skating, and playing in the water, and I can already picture pushing a stroller along that same path.

My Faith

God is everything to me. While I grew up going to church my whole life, it wasn’t until high school and college that my relationship with Jesus became deeply rooted and truly my own. I honestly wouldn’t be able to do this life without God’s guidance. I’ve tried to control my own life more times than I can count, but I’ve learned that whenever I finally surrender and trust His plan, things go so much better and my life becomes genuinely peaceful.

Because of that, my faith shows up in small, daily ways. It’s what drives me to study scripture with the women in my Bible study, and it’s why I love serving on the tech team on Sundays. My faith has taught me that every single person is uniquely created, chosen, and deeply valued by God.

That is exactly the truth I want to share with a child. Passing down my faith wouldn’t be about rigid rules, but about living it out together, praying together before bed, celebrating exactly who God made them to be, and teaching them to love others well. I want to raise them in a church community where they will be surrounded by a village of people who will constantly remind them of how cherished they are, both by me and by God.

My Village

I am so incredibly blessed by the people who surround me. My village is made up of a big, tight-knit family, deeply loyal lifelong friends, and a faith community that truly feels like family.

I have five siblings, and together they’ve given me ten nieces and nephews. Becoming an aunt has been one of the greatest joys of my life, and the kids are already so excited to have a new cousin to play with, while my siblings can’t wait to spoil a new niece or nephew. I’m also still close with my group of friends from middle and high school. We grew up together in church, and having them by my side all these years later is such a gift.

A child placed with me will also grow up surrounded by the wonderful generations of my dad’s family. My dad and stepmom live on a beautiful small farm with a garden, cows, and chickens, where they always host our big family Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. My stepmom is an incredible cook, and my dad can fix absolutely anything. I’m also very close with my grandmother, Granna, and my two aunts, who have supported me fiercely my whole life. Between a fun farm to explore, a loving Granna and aunts, and ten cousins to play with, a child in our family will have no shortage of love and adventures.

Every single person in my life is fully invested in this journey. They are all praying for me, praying for this child, and ready to support us both. A child placed with me will never doubt that they belong.

Family Traditions

Our family runs on togetherness and tradition. With a big family, Thanksgiving and Christmas are my favorites, full of games, decorating, and simply being together, usually gathered at my dad and stepmom’s farm with its garden, cows, and chickens.

Food and hospitality are woven through my story in a fun way, too. My family owned an ice cream, sandwich, and candy shop when I was in middle school, and later ran a snowcone stand through my college summers. Some of my happiest memories are from being there with my siblings, and yes, it’s made me a bit of a snowcone-ice snob. I can’t wait to fold a child into these traditions and make new memories together.

The Parent I Hope to Be

More than anything, I hope to be a steady, loving, and grace-filled parent. I want to build a home where a child always feels entirely safe to be exactly who they are, knowing they are unconditionally loved. Because my faith is my foundation, I want to be a mom who leads by example, showing them what it looks like to trust God, to love others well, and to find peace in letting go of control.

Right from the start, I’m looking forward to the sweet, quiet moments of the infant stage. My heart is so ready for the late-night rockings, the baby snuggles, and making sure this little one always feels safe, warm, and secure in my arms. I want their earliest days to be filled with peace, gentle care, and the constant reassurance that they are cherished.

As they grow, I’m excited to watch their unique personality unfold and to bring them into the incredible community waiting for them, the messy morning baking sessions, teaching them to ride a bike down our quiet street, and seeing them surrounded by my lifelong friends and ten cousins. Most of all, I’m excited to watch them grow up knowing that from their very first breath, they have a whole village of people ready to love them fiercely.

A Little More About Me

My daily life is focused on making a difference, solving problems, and showing up for the people I love. Growing up working in my family’s shops shaped my work ethic early; it taught me what it means to be accountable, to serve others, and to take care of people. Today, I bring that mindset to my work with nonprofits, helping them fundraise for incredible global missions, from providing surgeries for children to disaster relief. My role is to troubleshoot and creatively find a way to make things work, even when resources are limited. Because adoption is so close to my heart, I also serve on the board of a local organization that provides events, resources, and advocacy for adoptive, foster, and kinship families.

Outside of work, I’m the person people call when they need something, because they know I’ll figure out a way to help, whether that’s staying on the phone with one of my sisters, helping a friend change a flat tire, or assembling tricky furniture. You can also find me serving at our community pantry, traveling on mission trips to Peru with my church, or working as program staff at a girls’ church camp each summer. I want a child to grow up seeing what it looks like to live a life of service, knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that their mom is a creative thinker who will always find a way to show up for them, too.
