I can’t begin to imagine the emotions you’re experiencing right now, but please know that I’ve been praying for you and for this baby every day since I began this journey. I pray for peace to surround you and for you to feel deeply loved and supported as you make this decision. I know choosing adoption and placing your trust in another mom comes from a place of fierce, unconditional love for your child. I see that love, and I want your baby to grow up knowing it too. I will always speak of you with honor and gratitude, and I will make sure your child knows the incredible strength and love behind your decision.
Becoming a mom has been the dream of my heart for as long as I can remember. As a little girl, I’d bake blueberry muffins with my mom on Saturday mornings, and it’s one of my favorite childhood memories. I’ve always wanted to create those kinds of moments with children of my own. The small but meaningful things, like bedtime stories each night, making homemade play-doh, letting them pick the color and mix it in the pan are the memories I want to pass down. The ones that show a child they are safe, cherished, and deeply loved.
The most important thing to know about me is that I’m a Christian, and I love the Lord. My faith is the foundation of my life, and I will raise your child in a home filled with grace, love, and the steady presence of God. This baby will be surrounded by people who will pour love into their life. My family and friends are incredibly excited to help raise this precious child. My mom, dad, and sister all live just minutes away, and many of my closest friends do too. One of my friends is expecting twins, and we already call our little ones the Three Musketeers. I know they’ll grow up sharing a special bond and a lot of laughter. The people you’ll see in this book are not just part of my life. They are my village. And they are already preparing their hearts to love and support this child every step of the way.
Thank you for spending time getting to know me. I can’t wait for the moment I get to bring a beautiful bundle of joy home to a nursery full of love, prayers, and anticipation for what lies ahead.
I’ve wanted to adopt for as long as I can remember. Adoption has always been a part of my family, so I grew up knowing how beautiful and life-changing it could be. Even as a little girl, I knew in my heart that this would be how I became a mom. When I started the process the first time, no one in my life was surprised. They had always known this was part of my dream, and they were just so excited to see it come true.
Becoming Elena’s mom has been the greatest joy of my life. I was there the day she was born and held her in my arms just moments after she entered the world. She is full of energy, laughter, and love, and being her mom has only deepened my desire to grow our family through adoption again. I know in my heart that she’s meant to have a sibling to share life with, and I can already imagine them building forts together, giggling over bedtime stories, and holding hands as they grow up side by side.
Adoption is a gift that has forever changed my life, and I feel so honored to walk this path again with open arms and an open heart. I’m excited to welcome another little one into our home, into our family, and into the loving village that surrounds us.
Elena’s birth mom chose not to have contact after Elena was born. I respect her decision and want Elena to know that her birth mom made that choice out of deep love. I will always speak about her with kindness and gratitude, and if she ever wants to reconnect, she will be welcomed with open arms.
I’m really close with my family and spend time with them every day. My sister is my best friend, and we even bought a house together. She sees my daughter every single day, and our dream has always been to create a home full of love, laughter, and togetherness. We’ve built a life that is centered on family, and we truly enjoy doing life as a team.
We’re also big on making memories. We go to Disneyland often since we have passes, and it’s one of our favorite ways to spend time together. Every summer, we take a family vacation in Hawaii and stay at Disney’s Aulani resort. It’s become a tradition that I look forward to all year. We also take weekend trips to places like San Diego or up to the mountains when it snows. I love that we can experience both beach and mountain life so easily from where we live.
At home, I enjoy being outside, especially hiking or going for walks with my daughter. We spend time in the backyard picking fruit from our trees or just playing in the grass. I also love the cozy moments like curling up with a fire, hot chocolate, and bedtime stories.
Baking is another special part of our life. I have the best memories of baking blueberry muffins with my mom, and I plan to pass those little traditions on to my kids too.
I work as a Vice Principal at a public school, and while I love what I do, my family always comes first. I feel incredibly lucky that my mom is retired and able to care for my daughter during the day. She’ll be a big part of this child’s life too, offering love, support, and lots of snuggles.
Elena is one year old and was adopted as well. I was there the day she was born and had the incredible privilege of doing skin-to-skin with her right away. She is full of personality and loves to laugh and be silly. I know she’ll be an amazing big sister. She’s already great at showing love and joy, and I can just imagine the bond she’ll share with her sibling.
I live in California, and I just love my city. It’s filled with orange groves, and in the spring, the blossoms make the whole town smell like sunshine. My mom lives just a mile away, and we’re surrounded by family and close friends who are always stopping by for a visit or a playdate.
We’re about an hour from both the beach and the mountains, so we get to enjoy the best of both worlds. We’re also close to bigger cities, so museums, theaters, and fun day trips are never far away.
I share a home with my sister, who is my very best friend. We created this space together to be full of joy, laughter, and support. Our home has a big grassy backyard where the kids can run and play, and we love being outside, especially picking fruit from the trees we planted. It’s a happy, welcoming place to grow up, and I feel so lucky to raise my children here.
I’m surrounded by the most amazing family and friends. Many of them live right here in California, and most of us have known each other for over 20 years. My dad lives about 20 minutes away and visits twice a week. He adores his granddaughter and is excited to welcome another grandchild.
My uncle was adopted, and he and I were very close. As a family, we love simple things like dinners together, swimming at my mom’s house, or meeting up for impromptu playdates and coffee. These people love me and my daughter deeply, and they are all ready to love another baby just the same.
Every summer we visit Hawaii and stay at Disney’s Aulani resort. It’s our favorite place to relax and enjoy quality time together. We also love little weekend getaways, like heading to San Diego or the mountains to play in the snow. No matter where we go, what matters most is being together.
“Dawn is the most loving and caring mother but she’s also a great friend! Her love for her daughter beams from her smile every day.”
My faith is a big part of who I am. I’m a Christian, and I believe God should be at the center of our home. I will raise my children in a home where kindness, compassion, and love for others are at the heart of our values.
Thank you so much for reading my profile and considering me to care for your precious baby. I promise to love them with my whole heart and to raise them in a home where they always know just how deeply they are loved, by both of us.
