Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We’re Ronald and Jade, and we want to start by saying how deeply honored we are that you’re even considering us as potential adoptive parents for your child. We can’t begin to imagine the magnitude of your decision, and we are in awe of your strength and bravery. Your selflessness in choosing adoption is something we will always admire and never take for granted. If you choose us, your decision would complete our family in a way words can’t fully express.
In our home, you will always be honored and celebrated for the life you shared with us. Your child will grow up knowing how deeply they were loved from the very beginning — not just by us, but by you. They will hear nothing but love, respect, and admiration when we speak about you. We want them to know that their story began with courage, and that your strength is part of who they are.
Your child will be loved unconditionally every single day. We will nurture, support, and guide them with open hearts and open arms. We promise to provide not only for their needs, but to give them every opportunity to grow, thrive, and become their fullest self. Their life will be filled with joy, stability, encouragement, and the deep sense of belonging that comes from being truly cherished.
We know that choosing adoption is not an easy path, and we can only imagine the emotions and strength it takes to make such a decision. Please know that, to us, you are loved and brave beyond measure. We are incredibly grateful that you are considering us to raise your child. Thank you for giving us the chance to grow our family — and for helping make our dreams come true.
With love and gratitude,
Jade and Ronald
We tried for several years to grow our family with the help of a fertility specialist. After multiple failed attempts, we came to realize that our path to parenthood might look a little different. After a lot of thought, research, and heartfelt conversations, we decided that adoption was the right route for us. We’ve always dreamed of having a family, and we believe that family is built through love—not just biology. We are over the moon to start this journey with you.
We met on a dating app, and from the start, something just felt easy and natural between us. For our first date, we went out to lunch and then for a walk along the lake—it was simple, thoughtful, and genuine. When we started dating we lived 45 minutes away from each other. We spent weekends together and packed so much into those two days—laughing, exploring, and really getting to know each other. That time built the foundation for the strong, loving relationship we have today.
We enjoy exploring new places, going on hikes, traveling, and spending time with our friends and family. At the same time, we also cherish relaxing moments just enjoying each other’s company. Our lifestyle is a blend of adventure and calm, filled with love, laughter, and connection. We love to travel. We genuinely enjoy being outside, whether it’s going for a walk, working in the yard, or just soaking up the sun.
It will be a joy to bring a child into our home and build a life full of both fun experiences and quiet, loving moments.
My husband is the love of my life and genuinely the kindest man I’ve ever known. He works hard and has a generous, caring heart—always putting others first, whether it’s his family, friends, or me. He goes above and beyond for the people he loves, and I know he’s going to be an incredible father.
My wife is intelligent, kind, beautiful, and incredibly creative. Give her a set of tools, and she can build just about anything. She has a huge heart and truly shines when she’s around children. I know she’s going to be a wonderful mother. I love her deeply.
Our home is down a quiet little lane in a friendly neighborhood in Bothell, Washington. We live in a two-story, four-bedroom house that we’ve poured our hearts into — always working on little projects to make it feel even more like home. One of our favorite features is the koi fish pond in the backyard, which adds a peaceful touch to the space where we imagine future days of play and laughter. Our neighborhood is full of life, with kids riding bikes, neighbors waving hello, and plenty of walking trails and parks nearby. It’s a safe, welcoming community — the kind of place where a child can grow up feeling connected, supported, and free to explore.
Family means a lot to us, and we’re both very close with our parents. We have a large extended family made up of both family and close friends.
Nearby, we have Ronald’s parents and one of his sisters, and we also have a tight-knit friend group that feels like family. Ronald visits his parents every week to check in and share tea, keeping those bonds strong. Ronald’s other sister lives in New York, and he makes sure to call and talk to her often to stay connected.
Jade’s family is in Idaho, but we’re so close that it feels like they’re right next door—we talk with them almost every day. Jade is especially close to her mom and they talk often. Her dad is also very supportive and always asking about the next step—they are all excited for us.
Our parents have shown us what unconditional love looks like, and we know they’ll be a caring and supportive presence in our child’s life.
We are a racially and culturally diverse family. Ronald is Taiwanese and Jade is American, and our extended family includes a variety of racial and cultural backgrounds. We believe this diversity is one of our greatest strengths—it brings richness to our lives and teaches us to appreciate different perspectives and traditions. We look forward to raising a child in a home that celebrates inclusion, respect, and the beauty of all cultures.
Kona is our sweet and energetic dog. She’s a big part of our family. She has lots of energy and absolutely loves going for walks, playing ball, and just being with her people. She’s also incredibly gentle and affectionate. Whether we’re out on an adventure or relaxing at home, Kona is always nearby, eager to be part of the fun. She brings so much joy and love into our lives, and we know she’ll be a wonderful companion to any child we welcome into our family.
We have a special tradition—every summer, we take a road trip to Idaho to visit family. Family means a lot to us, and we love spending time in the place where Jade grew up. We also make it a point to take a trip for our anniversary each year, creating new memories together. We can’t wait to share these moments with a child and start new traditions as a family. Having a baby with us on these trips will only make the experience more meaningful.
Becoming adoptive parents is a dream that fills our hearts with hope and joy. We imagine a life filled with laughter, bedtime stories, family traditions, and unconditional love. We look forward to the everyday moments—learning to ride a bike, helping with homework, cheering from the sidelines, sharing meals, and creating a home where a child feels safe, supported, and deeply cherished. More than anything, we hope to raise a child who feels confident, loved, and proud of who they are. Adoption feels like the path we were meant to take to grow our family.
We admire your strength and courage as you navigate this difficult decision. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us—we are truly appreciative and grateful.
