Dear Expectant Mother,
We can't imagine what you are going
through during this difficult time and we admire you so much for wanting to do
what is best for you and your baby. We believe that God has a plan for us and
that our dream of becoming parents could come true because of your bravery and
selflessness. We promise to provide your child with countless opportunities to
grow, play and become the best they can be. Our faith is very important to us
and we will impress the importance of believing in God and that all things are
possible if we believe in Christ.
We met on an online website. I saw
Neil's profile and wrote to him saying "I like your smile." We began to
communicate and after a month decided to go on our first date which was to a
Giants baseball game. We got along well and had many common values and
interests. I loved Neil’s sense of humor, his ability to listen without
judgment and his loving heart. I also liked the church Neil was attending and
felt very welcomed. After 15 months of dating, Neil finally got the nerve to
propose to Beth. I loved her kindness, candor and her love of family and
genuine concern for people. On October 2014 we were going to the World Series
game and I proposed to Beth, and she said “Yes!”
I, Bethann, have always dreamed of
being a mother. I knew from a very young age that I wanted to be a nurse
because I have an affinity for taking are of others. I cannot wait to care for,
love and nurture a child. I look forward to reading him/her their favorite
books, dropping and picking them up from school, and loving on them after a bad
day
I, Neil, can’t wait for the
opportunity to become a father and grow our family. I look forward to playing
together, eating dinner together and learning new things with each other. Not
only do I look forward to the good days, but we are prepared to support your
child through the not so good days too. Whatever life has to offer, I will
always be there to face it together.
I, Beth come from a large family that
includes my parents, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and lots of nieces and nephews. Neil comes from a
family with 2 younger brothers. His parents divorced and later they both
remarried, so in the process Neil gained 2 step brothers, 2 step sisters and a
few more nieces and nephews. Neil’s parents came from big families and as a
result, Neil has several aunts and uncles and cousins all across the United
States. So we have lots of support from family, friends, church family and many
co-workers’ ready to become Grandparents, Aunties, Uncles and Cousins to your
child and ready to welcome your child into our family.
Some of the family traditions
that we look forward to sharing with your child are getting together yearly for
family vacations, get-togethers for game night and making homemade pizzas, 4th
of July celebrations where we enjoy barbecuing and watching fireworks at the
end of the day. We enjoy camping in different State Parks throughout California. Most
important is family dinners together, where we help set the table and eat dinner together while we talk about our day.
We know as we write this, you are
facing an incredible decision and we thank you for considering us as a partner
in that great adventure.
Thank you for the courage you have
to make that decision.
Neil & Bethann
