Warm Hellos from Clint and Dana,

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us and read our profile. We have so much love and respect for the brave choice you are making by considering adoption. As we sit to write this letter our hearts are full of excitement and emotion because we know exactly how much our lives can change with adoption. We adopted our son Parker in 2013 and all our lives have been changed forever in the most amazing way.

Our little family is wonderful and amazing, but it isn’t fully complete yet. We do not always know what God’s plan is, and while it has been a much longer journey this time around, we believe that faith and love will keep us strong as we dream of that special day when we are blessed with another child through the miracle of adoption. We have more love to give and know that some little one is still missing from our lives and we can’t wait to meet him or her and welcome them into our family.

After being introduced by a mutual friend, the rest is history. We truly believe that we are each other’s soul mate. After less than a year of dating, we knew we wanted to spend forever together. A proposal in the middle of a field couldn’t be more fitting for the start of the next chapter of our life together. In addition to getting married in 2008, we also moved back to Dana’s hometown to help with the family farm.  Being active and busy on the farm, we truly feel that our marriage and lifestyle is like no other.

Early in our relationship we knew that family was very important to both of us and that we both wanted to be parents. After seeking several medical treatments for infertility and years with no success, our hearts desire was to still have children. We decided adoption was no doubt how we wanted to add to our family.

We have been married for almost 15 years and know that our marriage, life and family is so blessed already and is only going to continue to get better as we add to it. We are so excited at the thought of adding you and your child to our life and journey.

We know you face a very difficult decision, and should you decide that adoption is the right decision for you, we would love to join you on this journey and be a part of making the dreams you hold for your child, come true.

About Clint

There are so many wonderful things about Clint. From day one, he has been my biggest supporter and has such a way of brightening everyone’s life. Clint has a “football” build but is as sweet as a bald teddy bear. He has perfect vision with his bright hazel eyes and a smile that is warm and contagious. Clint attended college but then realized he is a “worker” and shifted his focus towards starting a career instead. Clint works on the family farm; his schedule allows him to be flexible and take his little helper (Parker) with him from time to time. Clint is a stand-up guy and a great father. You can truly count on him for anything. He is hard working and very dedicated to his family. When not busy on the farm, Clint enjoys coaching Parker’s baseball and football teams and helping Parker advance his swimming talent.

Clint enjoys the outdoors, camping and sports and absolutely loves fishing. He is the middle child with two sisters who both have families that live only a few hours away.

About Dana

I cannot imagine my life without Dana. She is not only my wife but my best friend. Dana’s beauty is both inside and out. She has long brown hair, blue eyes and a smile and personality that can light up a room. Dana is an amazing mother and always puts others first. She is the “team mom” always making sure others are taken care of; she is the mom that is constantly sending treats to school, signing up to bring the class party favors, and making sure every kiddo has warm winter clothes to wear.

Dana is loving, trusting and has a great sense of humor. She always has a positive attitude and a welcoming/loving smile. Dana rarely meets a stranger.

After finishing her bachelor’s degree, Dana started her career early in Human Resources and has had opportunities to advance; she truly enjoys people. When not working, Dana has fun outings with Parker, spends time with her family and friends and helps with community events.

Dana is very active and enjoys sports, gardening, baking, traveling and the outdoors. She is the youngest of three and both of her siblings have young families so there are lots of cousins under the age of 10 to play with at family get togethers. Although it can be a little noisy, it sure is fun.

Big Brother, Parker

Parker is the sweetest boy you will ever meet. He has a big heart and is very caring. He is a friend to everyone and is always up for anything; except for trying new foods! Parker enjoys playing sports, video games and absolutely loves swimming. Along with sports, Parker has a huge interest in music and wants to learn to play different instruments, mostly drums.

Parker, now 9 years old will be such a protective, supportive, and caring big brother. He has been asking for a baby brother or sister to love and play with for years. We can’t wait for his dream to come true along with ours.

Although he spends a lot of his time playing with our two dogs, he is so excited to have a baby human to play with and love!

Our Families

Family is a top priority for us! We always have plenty of time to celebrate birthdays, holidays, attend church, and enjoy family outings. We have a very close and supportive family. Dana’s parents live just a few short minutes from us and Clint’s parents are just a couple of hours away. We have a large extended family that we get together with often.

Our Home

We live in a spacious, 2-story house with a welcoming front porch that we decorate for the holidays and a large backyard to play in. We moved into our house about four years ago, with the plan to expand our family. One of our preferences when looking for a house was that had at least 3 bedrooms on the main floor. 2 are occupied and one is awaiting the arrival of your child.

We have plenty of room in our backyard to run and play. We do lots of fun, outdoor backyard activities, from having water balloon fights to playing with the dogs. The newest addition to our backyard is a large trampoline. It is big enough that we can all jump on it together and still have more room; we can’t wait to add your child to the fun.

We are close to a large, outdoor swimming pool where we spend lots of time during the summer months. The pool has a perfect set up with a baby pool for little ones and we can’t wait to take your child there. Just a short walking distance from our house is the park, soccer fields, t-ball fields, and the bike trail. We live in a neighborhood with lots of young families and children with lots of activities for kids to enjoy.

Behind our backyard, is where we have our fenced garden area. We spend lots of time out there in the summer, it is convenient to work in the garden while watching kids play in the backyard. We can’t wait to play in the dirt together with your child.

Safe, secure, and inviting are the best ways to describe our community.  We feel very blessed to live in a community that has a lot to offer while being safe and secure.

When not at home, you will find us about 15 miles away at the family farm.

Our Lifestyle

We enjoy the outdoors and many activities and playing and watching sports. We like to fish, go camping, garden, grill outside, bake goodies, play cards and board games, ride bikes, swim, and go 4-wheeling. Honestly, there isn’t really anything that we don’t enjoy.

While we love being on the go, it’s also nice to find time to just enjoy the peace and quiet of downtime where we can spend time together with our families.

On a long weekend we enjoy spending time visiting out of town family or taking little getaways and mini vacations with plenty of activities or events to attend.

Our Hobbies

Clint: I enjoy fishing and hunting and especially like it when Dana and Parker can join me. I always like to make bets on who will catch the most fish or the biggest fish. Dana and Parker are always up for the challenge and are good sports.

Dana: I enjoy fishing and spending time at the lake with Clint and Parker. I like to have campfires and am always up for experimental campfire cooking. I like to garden and do outdoor activities: riding bikes with Parker and taking the dogs on walks. I love gardening; during the summer months I have a large garden. The most fulfilling part of having a garden is giving away fresh vegetables to our neighbors and friends.

Parker: I love playing outside and during the warm weather I am always up for a good water fight. I love swimming and would like to spend every day at the pool. I also enjoy riding my scooter and bike and playing with the dogs.

As a family: We enjoy going to the lake in the summer and camping. Taking out boat out on the lake and spending the day fishing and telling stories is so much fun.

Our Traditions

We love spending time together as a family and enjoy celebrating all holidays. On Christmas we like to cook a large meal, and enjoy spending time together as a family. We love playing games/cards or watching a Christmas movie. The highlight of Christmas is wearing our favorite Christmas pajamas and singing Christmas songs. Easter, we enjoy dying eggs and seeing how creative we can make them. We have a little competition on who can make the “best” egg. For Halloween, we enjoy going to the pumpkin patch and picking out our favorite pumpkins. We enjoy carving pumpkins and seeing how many pumpkins we can carve out and decorate before our porch gets overloaded. We like to find our way through a corn maze and do the Halloween scavenger hunt corn maze. It is so much fun and while we might get a little lost at times, it just adds to the fun and excitement!

Our Personalities

Our Dogs

We have two dogs, Addy and Chase. Addy is a 5-year-old yellow Lab and Chase is a 1-year-old chocolate Lab. They are both well behaved and love people. They love to play and are great around kids. They are so loyal to us and a big part of our family. We also have lots of fun farm animals on the farm: goats, pigs, cows and horses.

How a Child will Enrich our Lives

We waited a long time to start a family and we both knew how badly we wanted to be parents. We are so blessed to have Parker in our life and know that another child will be a great addition to our family and will make it complete.

Why We're Choosing to Adopt

We decided adoption was how we wanted to build our family. We were blessed with the adoption of our son Parker, who we love to the moon and know that adoption is a great fit for us again.

What it Means to Us to Adopt a Child

Our little family is wonderful and amazing, but it isn’t fully complete yet. We have more love to give and know that some tiny and perfect, little one is still missing from our lives and we can’t wait to meet him or her.  You are so strong and so brave and we thank you for your courage and for making our dreams come true. We are beyond grateful for you and the love you have for your child. Your child will know that you were so courageous to make such a difficult decision and that you loved them more than anything, and that’s why you made such an admiral decision. They will know that we feel that you are amazing and that you wanted only the very best for them. As parents, we believe that children need to be loved unconditionally and to be supported in everything that they do. We will teach your child about responsibilities and morals and how to learn from mistakes and to strive to be the best that they can be.

What We will Teach our Children

We will teach our children the same things our parents taught us growing up: morals, responsibility and a hard work ethic. We will also teach them manners, to be respectful and to appreciate and be grateful for what you have. They will learn to believe in themselves and to be the best that they can be. We will show them the true meaning of love by our loving example.

Our Relationship with Parker's Birth Parents

We have such an amazing relationship with Parker’s birth parents and feel that they are truly our living angels.  We are so thankful for them each and every day. To stay connected with them, we send updates and pictures back and forth. There isn’t a Mother’s Day that goes by that Dana doesn’t reach out to show complete appreciation for making the day so special to her. Birthday wishes on Parker’s birthday is another day we make sure we celebrate with them. We have so much love for them, and we care deeply for them. We are open to the level of contact and connection that you desire.

Our Promise to You

We believe that children need to be loved unconditionally and supported in everything that they do. We can’t wait to cuddle your child, read them bedtime stories, take them to the zoo and park, attend their first soccer or t-ball game, take them to their first day of school and support them through all their accomplishments. We will teach your child about responsibilities and morals; how to learn from their mistakes and to strive to be the best that they can be; and we will teach them to believe in themselves. We will always show them the true meaning of love, by our loving example.
