Thank you for taking the time to read about us. We are in awe of you and the courage that you have for making the decision to place your child for adoption. We understand how hard this must be for you, and pray that God will be with you as you go through this difficult time in your life. My husband, Nick and I have known since the beginning of our marriage that we wanted children. We have always talked about the idea of adoption. After being unable to conceive over a period of about 6 years, we decided to embark upon this journey through the adoption process. You can be assured that your child will be welcomed, loved and cared for beyond all measure in our home.

We love to have fun together and build memories.  Recently, we took a dream vacation to Hawaii. We visited the islands that Mark called home when he was in the military and enjoyed a bit of vacation paradise.  At home, we enjoy taking our dog, Ryno, for daily walks along the nature trail, or loading him up in our car, packing a picnic lunch, and heading off for a hike.  All the while, we are snapping photos so that Amy can put them in our family scrapbook.

Ever since we got married, we have always discussed the possibility of adopting a child and now that we have started the adoption process, we are more excited than we even imagined.  We have seen how wonderful adoptive families can be and how they fulfill both the dreams of the adopting parents, but also the dreams of the child.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this letter to learn more about my husband David and I. David and I promise to love your child as our own.We believe we have so much to offer a child.  David and I have always talked about how wonderful it would be to wake up to the sounds of laughter and little feet pitter-pattering across our floor.  We know that we are our child’s first teachers and are waiting with great anticipation to begin our lives as the best parents we can be.  With the support and love of our family and close friends we look forward to bringing this child home.
