As you read this, we know you’re filled with apprehension over one of the biggest decisions of your life. You’ve probably already been down the road of infertility treatments and maybe you have explored adoption using an agency in your area. We can truthfully say we’ve ‘been there, done that’. We are so very happy. You have to feel pretty darn good about what you do for people. This match was perfect. We strongly feel that God made Ian for us. He is perfect in every way. We are so deeply in love with him. Marie can’t stop kissing him and Tim loves to just hold Ian from the time he gets home from work to the time he goes to bed. He makes Ian smile and laugh with just glance. The three of us are the happiest family on this earth.

Nine days later we were holding our son Anthony. Yes, the Adoption Network Law Center placed us with our healthy newborn son in approximately nine weeks!!

I know the call to me was one that all of ANLC dreaded. Our Adoption Advisor told me she hoped that she would be the one that would get to place the future call saying that we had been re-matched. For the next two months, we had our good and bad days, hoping that our prayers would be answered.

I entitle this Story the Miracle of Judah! Walking in the doors of ANLC has changed our lives forever. From the moment I picked up the phone I knew God had a special plan and purpose to show his unconditional Love. Danny and I prayed for fourteen years for Judah and loved him every step of the way. Many might say how can you Love something you cant see or don’t have, but we say Faith and great love made it to the day it would be our turn.

This person is not only dedicated to the birth parents and the adoptive parents, but especially to the children whose lives she shepherds through the adoption process. She is truly passionate about her work. Ellen’s passion shows through her caring attitude, commitment to all parties involved, and her love for these children. We cannot imagine going on this roller coaster ride without Ellen Edman by our side reassuring us everything will turn out just fine. She not only made this joyous event possible, she kept us sane through the process.
