Healing Hearts is a private Facebook group that was created to Honor and Support Birth Mothers during all stages of the placement journey. Our goal is to offer encouragement, knowledge, education and pre and post placement support services to any expectant parent or birth parent who may be struggling or who wants to feel like a part of a community. If you have the heart to share your story and support others through their journey, then we would love for you to join us!

Every adoption experience is unique, and every Birth Mother is as well. Each story includes pain, joy, fear, stress, confusion, uncertainty, and so much love. Hear and watch birth mothers talk about their thoughts, experiences, joys and pains. And come back later, as we will continue to add videos to this area. If you’re a birth mother and would like to share your experience, please contact us through the link in the header.
I was 19 when I found out I was pregnant. I felt like my entire life was crashing down around me. I felt shame, anxiety, worry, and so many more emotions all at once. This was never a part of the plan. The birthfather was unsupportive and chose not to be a part of my pregnancy. My family was extremely disappointed in me…
Sometimes the support you need is simply to understand where others are in their journey, to hear their stories, or to even journal your own. Here we list diaries, journals, autobiographies, essays and stories related to being birth mother and placing child for adoption.
Adoption Network is committed to honoring and Supporting Birth Mothers. As a part of our ongoing efforts, every autumn we offer a scholarship to one birth mother who is interested in pursuing higher education. For more information and how to apply, click here.
Do you have a heart for Birth Mothers? Here's how you can help support them on their journey to healing. Your donation will help send them to retreats, fund scholarships, and pay for counseling.
