Your choice may be the greatest blessing that we receive in our lives and for that we are incredibly grateful. We attended a family party yesterday and found ourselves swinging a 4 year old from his arms and legs back and forth until our arms hurt. He was giggling uncontrollably and insisting that we “do it again.” As we lifted him up the last time we looked at his face and realized how lucky we truly are to be adopting. We met at work twelve years ago and became great friends. We fell in love and within two years we were married. Building a family was always important to us and after a few years of trying to conceive, our miracle son Nolan was born in February 2007. He truly is a blessing and a joy in our lives. It is impossible for us to have any more biological children. However, our wish is to have another child to love and to complete our family. Our hearts swell with the idea of two little ones in our arms, and the joyous thoughts of watching them grow up together.
