From Us to You

Dear Expectant Parent(s):

We know that this is an extremely, and maybe even seems like an impossible decision you are faced with, so please know that we will be here for you and that you are not alone anymore. Thank you so much for taking the time to read our profile.

Scott and I first met when we were 19-years-old and have been married since 2013. We have grown together! He gives me strength and confidence and is a great provider for his family. He works at a job that he loves because it gives him the opportunity to also be involved with charities and foundations that benefit so many people, such as charity drives for sick children. When people meet him, they love him instantly. He’s funny, silly, and a huge problem solver! He is the yin to my yang. Did I mention he absolutely loves sports? Oh, he sure does!! Your baby is going to grow up with the best teacher in the world! I fell in love with Scott because he has a heart of gold and loves unconditionally. He is a wonderful man and I always knew that he will be an amazing dad.

My wife Noelle is my best friend. She is the most caring and all-out loving person I have met. She is a huge animal lover and spends a lot of her time outside riding horses. Noelle is a professionally trained chef. She went to Culinary School and is an unbelievable cook. She makes sure I have nutritious meals every night! She is a stay-at-home wife and is the reason why our house runs without any issues. Noelle is one of the most patient and understanding people I know. She is a great teacher and really goes above and beyond to help anyone. Her heart is just bursting at the seams with a chance to give all the love she has to your baby. She is an amazing wife and will be an even more amazing mother.

We moved from California to Arizona and have been living here for a couple of years now. We just bought our beautiful new home with 3 bedrooms, living room, family room, a great kitchen to learn to cook in, a center courtyard that’s outside with a fireplace, a pool, and backyard! It’s the perfect house to raise our family and the neighborhood is full of trees, flowers, and desert wildlife. Something we really wanted to have in our home was the ability to look outside and watch the birds and squirrels. We have that and more. The neighbors are amazing; they’re very friendly and they have children to play with. The schools in this area are the best in the county and they are within walking distance. We have settled in smoothly, making great new friends who all have children!

Arizona has a rich history and we find ourselves taking more trips and exploring more than we ever did before. We take weekend trips to the mountains or explore the breathtaking red rocks in Sedona. We cook most of our meals at home. Dinner is hot and ready around 6:30 p.m., and is always healthy. Our community offers a lot of amenities. There is a miniature golf course down the road, and an aquarium with a butterfly sanctuary! There is also a zoo and wildlife sanctuary that teach us about wild animals and how to respect them. We are discovering new things every day that our city offers. There are concerts in the park, movies in the park, museums and tons of family activities. We can’t wait to tell you about all the exciting things Arizona has. We are a part of a church that offers a ton of events and activities for families, children, and individuals. And we plan on having your baby grow up with everything we can possibly give them. Faith, family, and friends really are our true meaning in life.

We both have a large extended family with two sets of grandparents, a great grandmother, great aunts and uncles, aunts, uncles and nieces, and nephews galore. ALL of them are so excited to meet your baby and welcome him or her! Family is so very important to us. Scott’s parents live on a lake and enjoy taking boat rides on their boat or fishing in the lake. Noelle’s parents have a wonderful house filled with classic cars and a room for painting and sculpting. They have a cabin up in the woods where we go as a family and enjoy the outdoors. We have been blessed with an amazing and loving family that will welcome your new addition with open arms and help show him or her what the meaning of family is all about.

We are two loving people who are ready to start a family and raise your child in a nurturing, loving, and supportive home. We would be forever grateful to you for giving us this special gift.

Thank you,
Scott & Noelle

How We Met

We have been together for over 20 years. We started dating during our freshman year in college and have been together ever since. I guess you could say we both fell in love at first sight!

“She is the love of my life and I cannot wait to share all the joy a child will bring into our lives. Noelle brings out the best in me and shows me how to live life to the fullest and enjoy each day that God gives us.”

“When Scott and I first met he was so quiet and cute! I was attracted to him because of the relationship he had with his family. Looking into his eyes is one of the most wonderful things for me where I can see his soul and the wonderful man he is.”

Our Traditions

Since we are a biracial family, we have quite the traditions that we try to keep alive. Christmas time and New Year’s is where we really tie in and make sure to celebrate each other’s important traditions. Scott’s family loves getting together at the end of November, just after Thanksgiving, and decorating the tree. We center this tradition around food, music, and laughter. Scott’s mom loves to talk about where each ornament comes from, while Scott likes to hang ornaments on his stepdad’s pants without him knowing. You would think that year after year his dad would catch on, but NOPE! Scott’s family makes handmade ornaments every year to pass out to the family. Since Scott and Noelle have been married, Noelle has joined in on the tradition. All sorts of southern or German baked goodies are baked every year by Scott’s mom, a part of a very special tradition. We also take yearly themed Christmas pictures every year when we get together. Noelle’s family hand makes tamales weeks before Christmas every year to have on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The special recipe was Noelle’s grandmother’s that she brought over from Mexico. It has taken some time to make them like she used to, but the family finally got it as close as they can. Christmas Eve is kept alive by going over to Noelle’s grandparents’ house to eat tamales and drink atole before Christmas Eve mass. Christmas Morning is gifts and more tamales for breakfast! Christmas morning is really all about family, sharing stories, and catching up on life. Later that day, the family all returns home to prepare Christmas Day dinner. And that includes some of the best baked potato casseroles you have ever eaten! For New Year’s Day, we go back to celebrate Scott’s family tradition of eating Southern black eyes peas that are usually cooked with money! Whoever gets the nickels or dimes has good luck for the year! A special thing about being in a multicultural family is all the wonderful and beautiful traditions we have been blessed to experience with our families. We can’t wait for your baby to join our family traditions so that they can have these warm childhood memories to look back on.

Our Relationship with Our Parents

Scott: My parents provided me with an amazing childhood where I enjoyed doing what I love to do; play sports. I met some of my closest friends (that I’m still friends with today!) playing sports as a child. My parents were special education teachers and they made sure my grades were a top priority. I have wonderful memories of family trips to Florida where we would visit extended family in the summers. We would go water skiing on the family lake and spend time playing on the beach. We would cook, play games, and spend lots of time together. Family has and is always a huge priority in my life. My parents provided me with a strong work ethic and the desire to live each day to the fullest.

Noelle: My Mexican heritage is a strong part of who I am today. My parents were and still are a part of every inch of my life. I have a rich family history with so many traditions weaved into our lives. My wonderful dad understood my love for animals since I was a little girl. I had parrots, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, cats, dogs, and HORSES! My mom and grandmother passed on their love for cooking. I started baking with my grandmother at the age of 2. She would sit me up on her countertop and I would help her mix everything up. Baking was what we did together. I would help my mom on the weekend make breakfasts and dinners. A funny memory I have of this would be getting every single spice in the cabinets and making cookies for my dad. He would always try out my creations to encourage me! At that time my specialty was breakfast sandwiches and I wanted to have my very own breakfast sandwich restaurant. There is nothing like the smell of food cooking when you walk into a home. That is something we always had to look forward to. My grandmothers and mom were very good cooks. Every year before Christmas my Dad’s side of the family gets together to make tamales. My grandmother never really had a set recipe and to this day we still try to figure out how to make them just like she did. That tradition is still alive today and I want your child to have the same kind of wonderful memories that my parents gave me. It made me who I am today.

Our Hobbies

Since moving into our new home, Scott has found that he absolutely loves gardening. We enjoy going to the nursery and picking out new plants to plant outside. Scott loves playing basketball, golfing, BBQing, and making home improvements to our house. Noelle LOVES horseback riding and finds herself at the barn several times a week. Her favorite part of the barn is all 10 ponies that she loves taking care of. Noelle’s barn is like an extended part of the family. Her friends at the barn are all eagerly looking forward to the new baby as well. Noelle loves cooking and baking. Drawing is also another one of her passions, using oil pastels to draw anything from horses to birds. Noelle has also discovered after moving into their new home that she loves birdwatching!

How We Spend a Three-Day Weekend

On a long weekend, we love to take family adventures to places like Sedona, Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, and the surrounding areas. Sometimes, we take a quick trip to California to visit our parents. If we don’t feel like traveling, we spend time at home, BBQ outside on the grill, take a swim in the pool, and spend quality time together. Locally there are some very beautiful outdoor shopping areas, so taking a stroll down the streets and then having a nice lunch outside is always something we enjoy doing.

When We Picture Ourselves Holding Your Precious Baby, These Are Our Thoughts Regarding You, Their Birth Mother

Scott: When I close my eyes and think about this, I start to get emotional. The love and thankfulness that fill my heart cannot be expressed into words. Without you, we would not have the chance to experience the joys of raising a child and you will always have a special bond with us.

Noelle: I feel immense love and emotions. How can I ever truly thank you for giving us the gift of a child? My heart hurts knowing how much pain you had to go through and my promise to you is to live the rest of my life being thankful for you and providing your child a loving and supportive home. You will always be in our hearts.
