I know the call to me was one that all of ANLC dreaded. Our Adoption Advisor told me she hoped that she would be the one that would get to place the future call saying that we had been re-matched. For the next two months, we had our good and bad days, hoping that our prayers would be answered.

Our Precious John Henry was born less than 3 months after we signed up with Adoption Network Law Center and our beloved Jackson was born not quite 6 months later.

This person is not only dedicated to the birth parents and the adoptive parents, but especially to the children whose lives she shepherds through the adoption process. She is truly passionate about her work. Ellen’s passion shows through her caring attitude, commitment to all parties involved, and her love for these children. We cannot imagine going on this roller coaster ride without Ellen Edman by our side reassuring us everything will turn out just fine. She not only made this joyous event possible, she kept us sane through the process.

Everyone was caring and helpful in facilitating communication with our Birthmother and guiding us through the legal pathways that led to our finalization. In our wildest dreams we would not have imagined that we would be parents within 6 months of contracting with you. Almost one year to the date we signed our contract, Tommy’s adoption was finalized in Utah. Every opportunity we have to educate people about our adoption reminds us of the miracle you provided us.
